I saw it on a fast food commercial the other week, and I’ve read it on some food blogs. Nom. Usually in triplicate.
Is it supposed to indicate something appetizing? Delicious?
What is the sound “”nom” actually supposed to be? The sound of someone talking with their mouth full of food? Is it supposed to be the sound of someone chewing with their mouth open?
To me it’s gross and disgusting and it makes me want to puke every time I hear it.
Stop it now. Nip it in the bud.

Actually we had no idea what it was supposed to be as we don’t use it over here and we agree it sounds quite gross. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

I think it’s a teenager thing, and probably (not to be gender biased) mostly a teenage girl thing. Or maybe it’s a teenage girl thing gone amiss. 🙂
its everywhere..I am ashamed to admit I’ve used it..everybody and their fucking brother posts pictures of food on facebook..(including me.)and I think its easier to go nom, indicating it looks good then having to actually type out that looks good..I’ll quit doing it..especially when I saw a picture of one of the walking dead chowing down on some one and some one had captioned it with nom nom.
