I thought dial-up was gone years ago. I had AOL back in the mid to late ’80s. Everything was as fast as the slowest link, and AOL was always the slowest link.

it does make me feel kind of nostalgic though. I remember my 8088 computer, I remember Windows 3.1. spending hours installing dos, trying to get the mouse to work. All the automatic stuff was an automatic back in those days.

Ah, yes, I remember it all well, too. I was writing my own web pages back then. That was before there was software to do it. I had to write my own html. I learned a great deal all on my own.
