Another Tuesday Again

As part of my “get better sleep,” instructions, I’m not supposed to look at the clock and check the time all night while I’m supposedly sleeping.

Last night I was laying there waiting for the alarm to go off, not knowing if it was midnight or two or four. I was thinking it didn’t really matter because I know it’s going to happen when the alarm goes off. I know what the day is going to be like.

I feel like something’s different inside me since the eye surgery. That 6 weeks did something. I don’t know what. I don’t really care about work, I don’t really care about this house, I don’t really care about anything going on in my life. I don’t know what I want to do, but I feel like I should do something.

My roof leaked, I have to get that fixed, the guys coming tonight. I need a new washer and dryer. I went to look yesterday, deciding between two sets, but I think I better wait to see how much the roof is going to cost. And I need to clean this house.

But right now I’m going to work. Have a great day!

  1. Not look at the clock? Gee, I do so I can lie back down and be happy for the next couple of hours to sleep. It’s reassuring.

I hope you’re feeling more “centered” soon.

All the best for a better week ahead,
    Lois

  2. I go to bed at 9 and wake up at midnight. The.n inlay awake all night. (Seems like). Then it’s 0430 and I’m listening to sleep meditations.trying to get at least some sleep before the alarm goes off at 4:45
