Ive been thinking about this off and on for quite some time. Quite some time ago I posted a post about my two meal a day days and also this mention.. I was recently at a yoga retreat, and we had two meals a day. We had morning practice and then at 10:00 brunch and then an early dinner about 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. and it was wonderful I don’t think anybody went hungry and everyone seemed to like it .
I I usually have breakfast and lunch and a snack type dinner. But I noticed if I get up and eat breakfast (Even though I’m not really hungry) I do get hungry before lunch time. If I don’t eat breakfast, I get hungry maybe 30 minutes earlier than I would if I ate breakfast..
I find it annoying that I eat because it’s time to eat rather than because my body is telling me it’s time to eat.
What are your thoughts on this?
UNCANNY! I was just thinking of you an hour ago, and there you go and leave me a comment!!!! I have one meal a day at lunchtime. Followed by a snack type thing in the evening.
I stop by to see you for a sanity break!
I have breakfast and lunch and more or less snack for dinner. But thinking about changing the schedule.
I eat breakfast at midnight and lunch at 11:00 am. I don’t eat dinner. I fall asleep around 7:00 pm and wake up at midnight.
Retirement is wonderful after years and years at sea when meals were at specific times. Now retired, we eat what and when we are hungry. Sometimes (not often) we get really crazy and eat ice cream for dinner. We laugh and say it’s age. Seriously, we generally eat very healthy meals, but retirement does have some great benefits.
That sounds wonderful! Hopefully I will keep away from the ice cream dinners though!!!
