I’ve been reading in bed all my life. I remember reading under the covers with a flashlight as a boy.

I remember reading in my rack on my ship in the Navy with the cool little fluorescent light mounted on the bottom of the bunk above mine.

I remember reading boring books, I would pick up the book and start at the top of the left Page where my bookmark was and fall asleep before I made it to the end of the next page. Then the next night I would open my book at the bookmark and start all over, at the upper left corner and not make it to the bottom right corner before falling asleep. I’d say to myself “I’ve read this before”. I’d be stuck for a day or two and then just go to the next page!

I noticed lately though that I intend to read when I go to bed, take my shower and get in bed with my book and I’m suddenly too tired to read and just go to sleep. It’s like taking a shower and putting on my jammies turns my brain off…

Im not complaining tho! I like sleeping in bed too! It’s the second best thing you can do in bed!
