We flunked the electrical inspection. The breaker sub panel wasn’t on the plans. Originally, there was going to be a single breaker on the main panel for the whole project. The electrician thought it would be good to have a subpanel. And I agreed.
But since it wasn’t on the original drawings, there was a document to be submitted that wasn’t. (Boo on the electrician). Now I have to submit new electrical drawings thru planning.
Now, the architect is coming today, and if he is able to draw the drawings by the 20th, the last day before Christmas shutdown, they’d sit on somebodies (somebody’s?) desk at Planning till 2020. If Planning takes the expected minimum three weeks, we’re talking probably the last week in January.
So we’re all stopped, pretty much.
I’m disappointed.
Right now you’re still living in the world of permits. And it’s never over until the last inspection.
Got that right. Shutdown hard n fast.
I would be disappointed too! I hope it gets sorted soon. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
