Yesterday Evening Ashy, our new indoor cat, jumped off the balcony, 12 feet to the ground.
There’s no way she could getback up if she wanted to.
We found her outside, apparently enjoying herself, as she ran away several times when I tried to pick her up.
The Wife is very upset. She’s wanted a grey cat named Ashy as long as I’ve known her. We either have to close all the windows and doors and run the AC, or worry constantly about Ashy running away. The Wife is talking about finding a new home for Ashy. This would also devastate the wife.
Half our living area is outdoor porch and we can’t keep Ashy prisoner.
It’s a delimma with no happy ending in sight.
can you build a 2 foot guard rail around it? some sort of protective barrier, without spoiling the view ?
Why can’t the cat go outside… she will come back inside for food and loves surely? Most cats come and go from their homes without any problems. ???
