Above are two pics from this mornings eclipse. It was really fast. When I got up at 5:00, about half the moon was covered in shadow. By the time I got my camera, it was almost all in shadow. By 5:20, the moon had gone behind clouds and it was over.
It wasn’t really red, more orange.

I didn’t see it at all! It was supposed to be seen at around 11.30 pm here, but we had so much cloud it was not to be seen. Oh well.. there will be another one in 2018… maybe then I shall be able to see it! Your photos are excellent.

WHAT?!! I was up at 4:30 to run after my dog who went ballistic over another ballistic dog running by our fence and I didn’t even know there was a lunar eclipse going on. Maybe because my ballistic dog ran right through the screen door and left a nice big hole in it.
I didn’t get to see this live. San Antonio was cloud covered…
