This is the first real rain we’ve had in the past two months at least. It’s sprinkled it the last coupla days, but now it’s raining raining.

This rain gives me a soothing, calming feeling. I feel now, looking back, like I’ve been stressed and tense for months, and the rain is washing it all away.

Today’s a holiday here, because of a postponed voting day. The wife is off work, and this is her favorite sleeping weather. I’m glad for an opportunity to stay indoors and kinda do nothing.
