Above are picturestaken this morning Venus and the moon are (were) very close together.

im pretty sure I could detect the moons relatively rapid movement as it slowly sinks lower in the sky below Venus. Look at the upper left photo and the lower right photo. The positions of a Venus and the Moon are slightly different..
