Good Eye, Bad Eye

My good eye is my bad eye and my bad eye is my good eye.

I had all the surgeries on my right eye, cateract, and removed the epiretinal membrane and had the macular hole repaired. There’s nothing more to do on my right eye. I also had laser surgery to clean up my new lens after the other surgeries”dirtied” it. I believe my vision continues to improve, with a 12-month healing period. But, as of now, I still can’t read out of that eye. The text looks chopped up, I think it’s the glaucoma.

My left eye, the one I can read out of, still needs all the surgeries. I don’t have a macular hole, and I don’t have glaucoma,, but I do have a epiretinal membrane to be removed, which is basically the same procedure.. Not to mention still needing cateract surgery

I certainly hope I can read for the rest of my life, reading is something I do constantly, and I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t read.

I can read out of my “still bad” eye, and so far, my “fixed” good eye isn’t so good…

Anyway,, worrying about it produces nothing and is a waste of energy..

Have a great day!

  1. I hope it all works out well for you. We both just had cataract surgery at the end of last year. Thankfully, all went well. It certainly made a difference!
