In July of this year I overnighted my social security application.. Almost immediately I received an email saying they were going to call me September 11th. September 11th, I received an email saying they couldn’t get through, and would call again in twm more months.

I’ve been calling and emailing every work day since. (Overseas recipients are handled by an office in Santo Domingo) It was Santo Domingo I was trying to call. Finally, yesterday, I got through and hopefully everything is sorted. I had no problem communicating with the offices in the continental United states, but that Santo Domingo office…

Anyway, I’m greatly relieved. I’ll be even more relieved when the money starts coming in…
