I woke up last night and I told myself “When the alarm goes off, I’m going to stay in bed.” I fell back asleep, and when the alarm came on, I woke up and turned it off when the light came on, but before the sound started. I got out of bed.
I said to myself , “I’m not doing any stretches today. I’m going to have an idle day with zero exercise” as I carried my mat to the front porch. I had a better than average workout.
I said “I’m not going to walk or swim today”, as I carried my walking shoes and swim trunks to the bathroom where I put them on every morning. (I still leave the lights out and tiptoe around quietly like my wife is sleeping in the bed with me, even though she’s been gone 5 years). Then I walked, and swam and ran (jogged) like usual.
I wonder what else I’m not going to do today?
What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I ever do what I say I’m going to do?

So it isn’t that you aren’t doing what you said you would… it’s that you are doing what you said you wouldn’t.
That’s good!
Shows motivation and determination or something.
The only thing I think sounds “wrong” is the sentence about sneaking around the house.
