Protein

In my physical last week, about the only “problem” anybody mentioned was low protein levels in my blood test. Since then, I’ve been eating a lot of hard boiled eggs, and chicken and fish. I’m trying to get my fitness tracker to show that I’m getting enough protein. Problem is, I can’t eat that much.

I use My Fitness Pal, it syncs with my watch. I can’t make it say that I’ve “reached my protein goal” for today.

And I can’t eat that much and don’t want to half a dozen boiled eggs, 4 oz of smoked salmon, that’s not enough protein?

I gained 3 lb in a week.

I guess I’m going to have to go re-sen my dietician.

Happy hump day, have a good day!

  1. To much protein can raise your creatinine levels and cause kidney problems.
    “Assessment of kidney function:
Creatinine levels are a key indicator of kidney health, and eGFR, calculated from creatinine, provides a more comprehensive measure of kidney function.”
That’s me right now. Creatinine a little high, eGFR a little low. Potential kidney problems.
