Beach Buggy Blitz, Great Game!

I downloaded the game, Beach Buggy Blitz, at the Amazon Store, (free, of course), because I saw on YouTube that I could program buttons on my keyboard to operate the controls.

This has turned out to be a really fun, well thought out, game.

You start with a dune buggy and thirty seconds and you take off down the beach, collecting coins, Avoid the crabs and seagulls, houses and palm trees, because hitting them slows you down. Hopefully you’ll make it to  another clock before you run out of time and can keep going.

Save coins and buy upgrades, new cars and more cool stuff.

Very fun, very easy and challenging at the same time. Good graphics. My Wife says it’s the best  free game she’s ever seen. Check it out, Android and Apple.

More Chicken News

Again I am fighting a tendency to put the day of the week in title of every post.

We are going on vacation in less than two weeks and last night I started worrying about the chickens. I hope our friends taking care of our dogs and cats don’t  mind taking care of the chickens too. I am really hooked on those chickens. Yesterday when I got home from work they came running up to me. Hawk jumped up and perched on my cell phone on my belt, Pearl jumped up and perched on my briefcase, slung over my shoulder, Nemo started squeaking for me to pick her up so I perched her on my briefcase too.  Then I put them in their cage and fed them peeled grapes, seed, and the leaves from the vines on the fence that they like. Mangos are almost finished so I’m finding other things to feed them.

Today at work I have a big meeting. You may hear about it in  more detail tomorrow.

Monday Morning Weekend Report.

It was a nice weekend mostly. We went out on the boat Saturday and Sunday. Saturday someone went with us and we had a “lesson” Sunday The Wife and I went out by ourselves.capn markSunday one of our chickens,  Grey, died. She quit eating and drinking Saturday, (I noticed) and Sunday she died. Right before my eyes. I had her in a shady, comfortable spot, and later I looked out and she was laying in the sun, wings splayed. Then she got up, and tried to walk and fell over backwards. I ran down there and moved her to the shade again. I tried to give her some sugar water but she wouldn’t take any. Then she fell over and I knew I was going to die. Her legs quivered, and I saw her tiny chest rise and fall one last time, and she  was gone. I think that was the first time I saw death like that. I knew what was happening. We buried her near her sister, Stripe.

So now it’s Monday, Here goes!

Friday Fantastic Four

It’s Friday!  I don’t have anything in my head this morning. I have yet to take my first sip of coffee.
Tomorrow hopefully we will be going out on the boat for the first time!

Dancing Cactus Man

I had a dream this morning, My first dream that I remember for a long time. Just the other day I was thinking, it’s been a long time that I’ve had any dreams….

I was at a hotel. I looked out the window and there was an AC unit. On top of the AC was a cactus, I thought “That cactus looks like a person. How does it grow on the metal of the AC?” I didn’t think much of it. Later, I looked out the window again, the cactus was in a different position, and I realized that if I watched, I could see it moving, and it was dancing. A dancing man cactus.

Later, I went down the hall to the bathroom (apparently, the rooms didn’t have private bathrooms). but the hotel had been remodeled, and the door that was the bathroom door was now another room, and my optometrist was in there. I was talking to her, (“where’s the bathroom?” “I don’t know.” “This is where it used to be.” “I just checked in, this is the room they gave me.”)

So I go to ask where the bathroom and I end up getting in the back of a truck, and we ride and ride, running cars off the road and stuff. Beautiful sunny day. Then the next thing I know, I’m back in my room and the dancing cactus man was dancing almost full speed.

Then I woke up. Alarm clock .

I don’t know how to make bullet points on the internet.,,,

I woke up this morning thinking it was Wednesday.
Our boat wasn’t ready yesterday, we’re supposed to get it today,
I didn’t sleep too well last night.
I’m drinking my first cup of coffee.
There’s someone out shaking the mango tree I have a hard time dealing with it. I mean, people come, shake the tree, a few mangos fall out, get them and go. But no, they stay there, trying everything to get every mango out of the tree. Until I go say something, like I just did. I wish I could be diplomatic like my Wife.

I get the feeling that I’m not in a good mood today..

One thing I do  like though, is our chickens. Yesterday we let them out in the  morning, they were gone all day, and at sunset they came back and we put them in their cage and fed them. I like how they drink water as soon as they go inside. And they love mango. I don’t know what we’re going to do when there’s no more mangos.

Good Monday Morning To You!

Back to work today. What a weekend. Saturday flew by. Saturday I looked at my watch and it was 11:30, five minutes later, it was 2:30, and five minutes after that it was 5:15! Today they should be delivering the boat we won, Holy  Cow, it’ll be real then!

Sunday we went snorkeling, and The Wife tested out her new Underwater Camera, a Nikon  AW 100. Blue.

She got some good shots even though visibility was crappy.

Yesterday I let the chickens out around noon, and when we got home from the beach they were nowhere to be found. We were afraid we lost them but at sunset, all four came home and didn’t even try to get away when I picked them up and put them in their cage. It was very  pleasing.

There has been another lost chick around all weekend, this morning I put her in the cage with ours, She is barely bigger than an egg. The Wife won’t be pleased.

It rained hard this morning but  now it’s all clear… Scooter or car? Scooter or car?

We Won A BOAT!!!!!

The Wife and I went out to lunch today, after we power washed the house and decks. After that, on impulse, we went to a boat show at Harbor House Marina. They were raffling off a cute little boat. My wife asked me if I’d like to win a boat, and I said “Not really, but I would like one of  those hats.” (everyone was wearing Harbor House Marina hats.) We went back inside and I found where they were giving the hats away, right next to where they were selling raffle tickets. The Wife bought a raffle ticket.

Then we went outside and there were hamburgers and stuff and a whole lot of people. Then came the drawing, we were so far away we couldn’t hear, so we went closer, just in time for the grand prize drawing, the boat. I went in shock when they called my name. I was zombified. I turned to look at the Wife and she was all excited, jumping up and down. I didn’t know she put the ticket in my name.

So they’re delivering the boat on Monday, I’m still in shock. I can’t wait to go out on it.

If I was going to buy a boat, it would be a boat just like the one we won.

Unbelievable.

Good News and Bad News and Good News and Bad News and Good News

The good news is that I went to the store  yesterday to buy a new picture frame for the one I ruined. The Bad News is that I spent a lot more money than I intended. The good news is that I bought these two really cool wooden, heavy chairs for the deck. (I changed it to wooden heavy because I can’t spell Anderondac) See above pic.

The good news is that I had a post planned for today but the bad news is that had to delay it because I couldn’t get a video I needed (I may settle for just audio later.)

And the good news is that it’s FRIDAY!!! Whoo hooo! Hooo Ray!
