A New Team, Stay, Or None
I was born in Washington DC. I’ve been a Redskins fan through everything, winning, losing, good times and bad. I even liked the in-your-face name WFT. But I can’t handle the name, Commanders.
Several years ago, the NFL and the Game Pass app screwed me over. I paid and couldn’t get the games. Zero service from the NFL, zero response to get it working.Thank gawd for American Express. I would have never gotten my money back if it weren’t for them.
I haven’t been watching games for several years now, just checking the score of my team. But, I just can’t stand to look and see that C word.
My choices are to get a new team, or quit caring about the whole thing.
Is the franchise ruined? What do you think?

Twas an ok weekend. I left the house only to get breakfast fixins on Saturday morning. The Wife had to work Sunday. I took sun on the sun deck and watched every NFL team I hoped would win, lose. I abhor all the remainibg teams, except Carolina.

Not Friday
I almost named this post “It’s Friday”, but it’s not.
Tomorrow an old Navy friend of mine arrives for 10 days. Haven’t seen him in 32 or 33 years.
Night before last was the last Monday Night Football for this season. No more Thursday night games either. They didn’t even tell me goodbye! Philadelphia’s head coach got fired after they lost to my Redskins. I feel sorry for him.
I feel kinda down this morning. No reason.

Mondays Report of the Weekend

It was a good weekend, with a rough start. Friday, we were allowed to leave work early, because of the work Christmas party. I wasn’t going to the party, but I sure as heck was going to take off early. As soon as it was time to go. It started raining super hard when I couldn’t leave work. The second it quit raining, I left. The roads were so flooded the Watergaten over the floorboards of my scooter.
Saturday was nice, I went to the beach wife and mom in law didn’t want to go.
Sunday I put up the tent on the roof. We’ll be sleeping there when the father in law arrives tomorrow.
Yesterday was also the Wife’s works Christmas party. Brunch at the Marriott. It was good.
Also yesterday my football team won and everybody else lost. The Washington Redskins first in the division for the first time I remember in a long time.

It was a good weekend. Sunday I took Sheba to the beach. She absolutely loved it.
Sunday afternoon, The Wife went to a Costa Rica bar be cue at a friends house. I stayed home and watched American football. Tje Redskins MUST win tonight. They must, or else there is a three way tie for first in the division. What a mess.

Good Weekend For American Football!
It was a great weekend for American Football! Every team in my division lost, except my Washington Redskins! Plus all my other teams won too! Except Seattle. Great football!
The weekend was cloudy, and a lot of rain. Still raining now. The Wife cleaned the back porch, there was black mold growing on the concrete and she scrubbed it with a brush. I helped by moving stuff and I scrubbed a litle, but she did all the work.
This is my last full week of work before Mexico! I am ready to GO! As soon as we get back, the in-laws come for a visit, then an old Navy friend who I haven’t seen in 30 years.
Just get me through this week at work.

No News Is Good News
It was a great weekend! Friday I stayed home while the Wife went out to Oktoberfest. Not my cuppa tea)
Saturday I went to the beach, wife had to work (only for two hours). The beach is full of seaweed, and I had the whole 7 Mile Beach to myself! Didn’t see another soul. The sea’s been pretty rough, with the wind coming opposite the normal direction. Good sand n sun tho, it was great!
Sunday, we took Sheba to the beach at Barkers, not much seaweed there, came back, gave Sheba a bath. Then I trimmed the tree in the back yard. It had branches hanging down almost to the ground. After that we went to a friends house and hung out by the pool.
And I watched Football, Redskins won, Dallas lost.
It was a good weekend.
Super weird dreams last night though. I had a brain twister about the anomalies of the number 96. And a different dream that someone was building real structures of optical illusions. There was a corner of a building, a house really, that was up on a pole. It had a still-alive woman from olden days, still young and not affected by time. And more illusions. Too weird to retain in the brain. Waker-uppers. I got up and laid on the back porch for a pretty long time, since
sleeping wasn’t comfortable.
But it was a good weekend! I feel pretty good this morning, despite lack of sleep. We’ll see now the day goes.

Monday O Monday
Monday, When the alarm went off, I was having a dream that this girl was riding a weighted sled down to a submerged car to get something out through the open sunroof. I can’t remember now what she was getting, but I know I knew in my dream. The water was surprisingly cold and murky. She was wearing a red thick wetsuit, and as she headed down, I realized I couldn’t descend fast enough, and I couldn’t hold my breath long enough. I thought the car was very shallow, since we weren’t using tanks.
Speaking of diving, I went diving this weekend, and snorkeling. First we went to look for an old airplane in the North Sound, we found it very easily. It was a PBY Catalina, but the engines and propellers were gone. All three wheels were there and sheets of metal. It was a junkyard.
I have unimpressive pics on my camera, which is in my car. I’ll post some tomorrow. After that, we did a dive at a site called Bears Paw, it was a good dive, nice coral, but nothing spectacular.
Sunday the wife and I drained, cleaned and refilled our hot tub, and had a quiet day at home.
Now it’s Monday, and I’m headed in to work.
