I had to switch my default home page when I open my browser, (Firefox). I used to open to Google News, but that page started locking up my browser and I’d get a warning, “A script on this page has stopped responding” Then it takes 5 or 10 minutes for me to make the program close.

So I switched my homepage to Yahoo! And have had no problems.

Now, this morning, many many months later, I went back to Google News to see if it was still screwed up, and yes, it was… I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, no help.

Anybody else having this problem? I don’t think so, because I use Firefox and Google News at work.

If Dino is real, then Fred Flintstone is too. I don’t care what THIS article says. I’ve been a firm believer all my life. I also have been hearing that Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny aren’t real, but everybody knows THAT is a lie!

Dino was fatter

Scientists believe they have found the world’s oldest dinosaur after fully analyzing a fossil unearthed 80 years ago.

The ten-foot-long dorky-looking Nyasasaurus parringtoni scuttled over the Earth 10 to 15 million years earlier than the previously oldest known dinosaurs, palaeontologists claimed in an article published in the journal Biology Letters.

Analysis of the 243-million-year-old fossil also reveals interesting facts about what makes a dinosaur.

After analyzing the seven bones that remain of the dinosaur – one upper arm bone and six vertebrae – the boffins hypothesized that the Dino walked upright, was approximately 3ft high at the hip, and had a body the same size as a labrador.

The bones confirmed existing theories about the nature of dinosaurs: for instance, the bone tissue, woven haphazardly rather than laid down in an organized way, suggests rapid growth, a key characteristic among dinosaurs.

“We can tell from the bone tissues that Nyasasaurus had a lot of bone cells and blood vessels,” said Sarah Werning of the University of California, Berkeley, who co-wrote the article and carried out the bone analysis. “In living animals, we only see this many bone cells and blood vessels in animals that grow quickly, like some mammals or birds.”

The find also suggests that dinosaurs were not the dominant vertebrate group during their early evolution. And it helps explain how they diversified from archosaurs – the predominant land animals in the Mid Triassic period that included dinosaurs and the ancestors of today’s crocodiles.

Little Nyasasaurus was found near present-day Lake Nyasa in Tanzania in the 1930s by Francis Rex Parrington of Cambridge University. It is named after him and the lake.

Skins beat the Giants last night by one point! A win is a win in the NFL.

I’m really happy, Yesterday, when I posted, I thought the game was in New York, I was mistaken. Also,during the game, I was told that the Redskins had a 0-10 record on Monday nights. All the stuff I wrote yesterday was wrong, on a neutral field, Giants would have been favored by 5.5

The Giants looked good, that’s for sure. Every play was a long pass, every receiver was open. The Redskins weren’t covering the receivers at all. I think the Skins defense needs some work. The Giants couldn’t run against the Skins, but they could pass!

It’s Tuesday, I’m ready for the weekend already. I stayed up late last night and I’m tired today. Tonight, sleep early.

It’s Monday, it was mostly cloudy all weekend again.

I watched some football yesterday on Red Zone. I didn’t really like it. It keeps you informed, and there’s all the action, but at the end of the day, I had to go look up who won or lost moreso that if I had just watched one game and got updates that way.

Big  game tonight, Washington must beat the New York Giants.Giants are favored by 2.5. The game’s in New York, and you get three for being at home. That means that if it was on a neutral field, the Redskins would be favored by .5. That means the oddsmakers think Washington is a better team. Washington CAN win, if they show up and play.
