Here it is Friday again. Last night we went to the Christmas party for my work. It was alright.

Next week I work four days, and then I’m on vacation.
I’m wearing my new Costa Rica football jersey to work for dress down day. I hope it’s appropriate.
Weather here has been cool and threatening to rain all week. Yesterday started out cloudy but ended up sunny and today I’m taking the scooter for the first time this week. Hope it doesn’t rain today.

Keep having dreams about my father. Last night I dreamed we were in the synagogue and he kept leaning over my shoulder to point out where we were in the text.
I tlod him to quit it and he wouldn’t. Finally I got up and left,  mad. He followed me outside. I said “I would be here whether you forced me or not, so leave me alone!

Then I wake up and think “My father is dead.” It’s the second dream like this I have had

I’ve mentioned several times I would like to become interested in football. I’m not talking about American football, which shouldn’t be called football at all. But real football. Football you play with your feet.

I believe I finally picked three teams to follow . My number one team is Udinese, from northern Italy. I picked them because I have a pen pal in Udine, Italy. You were, and shall remain, my first choice.

2 team is Costa Rica. As you know, my wife is from Costa Rica. My wife knows much more about football than I ever hope to know.

What number 3 team is DC United.  I was born in Washington DC, so it serms fitting. DC United I was recommended to me by a friend from New Zealand. Really he’s from Tonga but lives in New Zealand.

Costa Rica has done very well this year. The Udinese team is over 100 years old, and has a rich history.. DC United, well, they don’t have much support in the USA, and will probably never amount to much, but what the hell, I was born there.

Back to work today after a 2 day vacation. Blah.

tomorrow I start a two day and one weekend vacation. So today is my Friday. I should be more excited. Maybe tomorrow when I wake up and don’t have to go to work it will hit me.

Last night I woke up about 130.  I laid there a long time , then got up and walked around, then later on the couch for a while, finally went back to bed around 4, I guess. I was sleeping good when the alarm went off that’s for sure.

no matter, I’ll make it through the day. This will be like a long weekend instead of vacation.

You know how when you go to bed spend the first couple of minutes getting the pillows and blankets sorted out? Well, I was still getting the pillows and blankets sorted out when the alarm clock went off this morning. It took almost an hour to shower and shave this morning.. Because I was so zombified.

I have to take 7 days vacation before the end of the year. A lot of people already taking vacation, so I have to fit in when I can. So I’m taking off this Friday and Monday, and 5 days in a row around Christmas. Two mini vacations. I like it better this way, my original request was for 7 days in a row  spanning Christmas and New Years.

I pretty much quit watching American football when it became apparent at the Washington Redskins again have a suck ass year. Apparently I’m the only one who notices that with Kirk Cousins as quarterback the Skins are undefeated. With RG3 the Skins have a very poor record.
Doesn’t really matter to me. I quit watching months ago. However I thought game last night between New Orleans and Seattle might have been a really good game. I was wrong. Seattle stomped New Orleans.
So I’m guessing Seattle will be in the Super Bowl. And I’m trying to figure who else.

The weekend was too short. It was only one day long. Yesterday was Saturday I don’t know what happened to Sunday.
I mention that on Friday I found out I need to take 7 days vacation before the end of the year? Hooo rah!! I’m glad I have to take vacation and stay on the island and go to the beach, and go diving. I just have to strategically plan this time to take said 7 days.
Apologies to all. Have been bad about commenting on blogs lately. I will try to do better in the future. I promise.
