Today MUST Be Better Than Yesterday!

Yesterday sucked. From the time I woke up wrong to the evening when it was almost bed time, yesterday sucked. I was freezing all day. I felt like crap, although I didn’t have a headache or stomach ache or sore leg or anything in particular, I just felt like crap. I felt better after I drank some tea my wife gave me. At least I quit freezing.

Yesterday my weather app said “sunny, all day” and it poured. I was glad for my full rainsuit riding home on my scooter.

Today will be better than yesterday.

That’s fer sure.

I had a really hard time getting up this morning. I was dreaming, and I was getting ready to do something very important when the alarm went off. I can’t accomplish anything with these alarm clocks disturbing me all the time.

The New Mattress

The day after we got back from Costa Rica, The Wife and I got a new mattress.
Let me tell ya, I haven’t woke up since. Well, I mean, I’m awake right now, what I mean is that I haven’t woke up in the night and struggled to get back to sleep.

It’s nice. In the past year or so, I’ve gone from “World Famous Insomniac” to “Pretty Good Sleeper”. Mostly what I did was focus on trying to sleep better. Concentrate on not laying awake worrying about crap by focusing on my breathing, trying to actually stop thinking.

It works, and I like it. A lot.

And the new mattress is great too!

Flypaper: Great Movie!

Watched a great movie yesterday, Flypaper. Two sets of bad guys try to rob the same bank at the same time. This is a comedy that IMDB says is an “under the radar” good movie. This is definite watch-more-than-once really really good movie. I highly recommend watching it.

It was a good weekend. I planted two more papaya trees, I saw that we have some more bananas on the way!

Mostly stayed at home and hung out. We had some much needed rain as well.

Looking forward to making it through this first full week after vacation.

Yipee Da Doo Dah!

Pretty sure that’s an original post title. I was going to name it “Friday”. Probably have a thousand posts named “Friday”

Supposed to be sunny today, but I can see over in town it’s cloudy and raining. I really want to take the scooter today, I have a Doctors appointment at 10 and a dentist appointment at 3, and I don’t want to have an issue parking.

Yesterday, I got up, did my normal routine, then was all ready and had about a half hour before it was time to go to work. Then I sat around till it was time to go, wondering what I’d forgotten. This morning I have the sensation of running late. It’s 6:36 and I still have to make my lunch and feed the dawgs.

Back To Work

Today it’s back to work.
All my work will be backed up, plus the normal workload, the vacation punishment.

I still want to post more Costa Rica pictures. Soon come.

I’m glad it’s not Monday, it seems like Monday to me, but I will soon find out that it’s not.

Yesterday I received my THIRD Nomad 20 solar panel. Two under warranty. We’ll see if this one works. I didn’t even open it for hours after I received it. Not thrilled anymore, don”t care.

We’re getting ready to leave for the airport. I was sad when we left Cayman to come here, and I’m sad to be leaving Costa Rica now.

Last Full Day In Costa Rica

Today is our last full day in Costa Rica. Tomorrow afternoon we fly. I was sad when I left Cayman to come here, and now I’m sad to be leaving here to go to Cayman. Its my wife’s fault, before I met her, I was tough as nails. Now I’m tough as snails.
