Overslept
Overslept this morning. Photos still on the camera. Looked for meteors last night and saw zero.
My wife takes pictures with both her camera and phone, and uploads photos instantly. Im taking pics with my camera.

Helicopter Tour
We went on a short helicopter tour yesterday. It was great! I videoed the whole thing.
I tried to upload the video but am having problems.. I recall every time I try video with this app, it gives me a hard time. Aint nobody got time for that!

Canadian Adventure Begins!

Final Friday!
Today is my last workday before Vacation!
Usually on Fridays, I like to tie up loose ends, but today it looks like I have a pretty busy day lined up.
This might be my last post until Canada. I have a feeling it won’t be, but it might.
I can’t wait to get to Canmore!

Rush to be on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine

I love the band Rush. I remember Rolling Stone in the ’70s and ’80s, “Back when Rolling Stone Magazine was cool”. I remember the weird little ads in the back. I particularly remember one issue that had this guy wearing a red hoodie, smiling and looking all at peace, and his eyes were all glazed over and wasted looking. I remember thinking “wonder what drugs he’s on, I want the same buzz”. Never did find out.
I remember a band called Dr. Hook, who had a song about wanting to “see my smiling face on the cover of the Rolling Stone” They was “gonna buy five copies for my mother”
My favorite Rush Song is “Working Man” . I never heard it till 1977 when I moved to Maryland. But it’s still a great song. When I was a kid, I delivered newspapers at about $30 a month, and I haven’t really been unemployed since. I worked my job at Sears the day before I went into the Navy and got two paychecks mailed to me in boot camp. I’m so tired of working and don’t think I’ll ever be able to retire.

Same Mistake Over And Over
Morningtimes, when I usually post my post, I frequently have trouble with a topic. I have a list on my phone entitled “Topics”, which is empty.
Throughout the day, something happens, or I think of something that would be a good topic, and I think “better write it down”. Then I think, “Nah! I’ll remember that, it’s soooo good!”
Next day over and over…”What was that great topic I had?”

Beautiful Morning
It’s an incredibly beautiful morning. Hard to believe it’s supposed to rain later. This afternoon.. I was planning on driving the car but might take the scooter. Me, being in control of the weather, have the power to make it rain if I take the scooter, or make all the forecasters wrong by driving the car. I think I’ll take the car, I’ve been meaning to get some stuff from the hardware store…
I got nothing much to post, I think I’m in a mood. I’m ready for this week to be over so we can go on vacation.
My “mood” is related to work. I keep this blog “clean”, not posting about people or specific situations that could get me in trouble or be controversial.
I’m fixing to have more than $3000 worth of overtime ripped off….

Good Monday Mornin’ to All A Yall
I feel like I’m going to fall asleep. I am exhausatificated. I woke up at 3:30 and couldn’t fall back asleep…. until about 4:30.
On the bright side, this is my last work week till vacation! Going to Canmore, Canada to see the brother in law and sister in law. I don’t think I’ve ever been that far north in my life.
It was an OK weekend, threatening to rain, but not much actually falling. Lots of cleaning going on. We have friends flying in to take care of the dawgs.
This is a ramblin’ Monday post, I don’t have anything substantial to say, and I’m going to bid you adieu.
