Stephen Hawkings died last night. I think one of the most important parts of being a genius is having the ability to communicate with those who aren’t geniuses. This was something Stephen Hawkings could do well.

Yesterday, It was cloudy as I was getting ready for work.. So, I took the van. It was nice and sunny. This morning is looking the same way. Think I’m going to fall for it again? Probably!!

Looks pretty lugubrious, doesn’t it?

I was planning on taking the scooter, but not anymore. If it gets sunny, great! If not, I’ll be dry. I’m tempted to ride instead of drive, but the clouds don’t cry wolf!

I had a good weekend, Saturday I went to a friends birtday party. I set up my little PA system for talking and background music.

It was a nice party. The birthday boy tried to pay me but I said no. He looked disapointed.

Yesterday, we took Sheba to the beach. She loved it!!

Then we went to a friends apartment and hung out by the pool..

It was a very nice weekend and some would be nice too!

This weekend is my old Boss’s 80th birthday party. The Director Of Broadcasting at Radio Cayman or many years.

He wants me to do sound for the party. Off coourrse I am doing it.

It’ss Friday! HHave a greeat weekkend!!

Years ago, I had a Jeep, (The last year of the AMC Jeep, a clue as how long ago.) and considered myself a big time four wheeler. Actually, it was pretty much a stock Jeep and I’d take it out and get it stuck and usually break something every weekend.

But since I was always getting it stuck, I figured I needed a tow strap, so someone could pull me out, or I coud pull someone else out.

So I got my new tow strap, I’m driving down the road, and see this pickup stuck in the mud. I offered to pull him out for $20. He said he didn’t have $20. I said, “Well, I’ve got this brand new tow strap, and I’m dyin’ to test it out, so I’ll pull you out for nuthin.” I noticed that it felt good saying it. And I hooked it up and pulled him out.

He was grateful, and he went to his truck, telling me he worked for Mack Trucks, and he gave me a brand-new chrome Mack Bulldog hood ornament for pulling him out. It weighed probably 5 pounds. It was my turn to be very grateful.

Truly beautiful. And it made me feel really good to recieve it.

The moral of the story, be nice. Give others what they need, especially if it won’t cost anything. I’m telling me this, not particularly you.

Burger-flipping robot begins first shift

I worked at a McDonalds in high school for one week, and turned in my two weeks notice to quit. Crappist job ever. I’d report for work, and the manager would have me take my break first, then run me like a slave the whole shift. He was an asshole. Wore tuxedo pants and vest with his uniform. This was 1977.

So good, burger flipping robot. In response to the fast food workers crying for more pay. It’s a minimun wage job kids. You work there part time to earn some money while you’re a kid, then you get a better job with more pay. You don’t thnk you’re going to be a burger flipper forever, and buy houses and raise families with an ever-increasing salary.

Today, I’m getting the van serviced, and the cat’s getting serviced too. Cat has ear mites, we think. van needs an oil change and a leak fixed.

It’s Monday, gonna be my first full week in what seems like a long time. Last week my mom and sister was here, and I was taking time off for them.

It was a good weekend. I got some sun and anchord the balcony railings, which were getting loose and shaky. (Apparently, the job was never competed when the house was built, 10 years ago. (If you go to the archive in the sidebar, you cans see construction pictures.)

Although I don’t think it’s supposed to rain, it looks kinda cloudy, and it’s cold for here, might take the van today. Tomorrow, the cat is going to the vet, she has scabby ears, and I’ll be picking her up, so it will definitely be a van driving day.

Yesterday, the Wife went to a Costa Rican girls birthday brunch, she had fun. On Saaturday night we went to an event called Red Sky At Night, which was a very interesting Cay,am Cultural event. There’s some pictures on my phone, but as I posted previously, it has become a major hassle to transfer files from my phone to tablet. Maybe I’ll try to get that working again today…

I was on vacation, as you know. Yesterday was my first day back at work, as you probably know. But if there ever was a person glad to see a Friday today it’s sme.

It’s very calm here this morning. Minimal breeze,/the sea was pretty flat for my swim. There’s a full moon about two fists above the horizion, setting soon. Nice morning.

I had some good topics, but I didn’t write them down and can’t remember them. I waSeither running or riding the scooter when I thought of them. All I remember is they were genius material. Maybe I’ll remember them..

Went to go running this morning and my right shoe was hurting my foot. When I looked, I found a pretty large cut or scratch on the top of my foot. No idea how it got there. Number 1 suspect: Cat. I accidentially stepped on her, kinda, when coming out of the bathroom. I mean, c’mon, it’s her fault for laying on the floor right in front of the door, right? But normally, I carry a flashlight, and she lays in front of the door every morning when I get up, and I see her and we straightaway go get her some food. This morning, I forgot my light, and it’s my fault. She almost took me down1

Well, It’s Monday. Not Really!Today s my first day back to work. Mom and sister left yesterday. Feels like Monday though. That’ll change tomorrow, when it’s Friday!
