Screenwriting
My new tablet lets me write on the screen. I want to figure out how it can turn my writing into text. It seems I was doing it the first day I got the tablet, but I haven’t been able to do it since.
We haven’t had much of the forecasted rain, a little, not much. Yesterday, I went to the beach for lunchtime and it was sunny. There was fresh seaweed washed ashore and I got a big bag of it for my banana plants. Good fertilizer.
That’s my banana plants, see the bananas on the left? They’re almost ready!!! Also, that’s the first picture I took with my tablet camera. But I had to shrink it to make WordPress accept it.
Have a great day!
First Post From A New Tablet
This is my first post from my new tablet, a Samsung S3.
My Asus was a good strong tablet, still is, but i wanted something bigger, with 4G of RAM instead of 2.
So I got it!
Wanna buy a good used Asus 8 inch tablet?
You Can’t Do It With A Spoon.
I’ve been drinking these protein shakes, some old stuff the wife didn’t like. I’ve been trying to stir them up with a spoon. That hasn’t been working, so yesterday, I got a handheld mixer. Let me tell you what, that thang is nice!
Plus I’ve been seeing them on “The Great British Bake Off” and kinda became obsessed with them.
Have a great day!
Chicken Cats
Cats that are chicken – of chickens!
Woke up this morning, and all the cats and all the chickens were waiting outside the door for their breakfast. In the afternoons, I have to guard the cats whenI feed them, because the chickens steal their food. Normally, in the winters, it’s still dark when I feed the cats, and the chickens aren’t up yet, so the cat’s can eat in peace. This year, the chickens are up and aware that they can steal some cat food. SO I have to guard the sissy cats, now morning and afternoon.
Just now a bunch of loudmouth Ching-Chings came to the birdbath, dipping their food to soften it up. Then I noticed it was cat food they were dipping! What the heck! We’re supporting the whole ecosystem.
I have to get up earlier in the summers, I guess, so I can feed the cats in the dark. And feed them later too, when all the chickens have gone to bed.
And it’s Monday.
Another Great Friday Morning!
Last night I dreamt that I was working as a volunteer in a hospital(s) of something. I was driving around, taking notes on a clipboard. And I remember someone in a wheelchair. That’s about all I remember. I woke up thinking, “maybe this is the career I’m supposed to be in!”
I think I need to start getting up earlier. This morning I got up to run, swim, and feed the cats and dog. I went outside to feed the cats, and realized I left my door key upstairs. I went up to get it I was gone about 15 seconds, and when I got back, the chickens were approaching. Sooo I had to stay and guard the cats eating, to keep the chickens from stealing the cat food. Then I ran late, swam late, and am running just a little bit late on everything now. For the first time since last year, the sun was actually up before I got home. Last year, I saw it rise from the sea. I’m checking my astronomical calendar so I can see that again.
I didn’t do my sit up program this morning.
Well, I guess I’ve bored you enough today, if anybody read this far 😀
Have a great weekend!
Wrong way to start the day
I got up, went running / swimming. Got dressed and made coffee. Looked down at my brand new cuppa joe, and there was a bug floating. I don’t know if he was in there before I poured, or if he somehow landed in there from the steam. I suspected the former, because he looked like he’d been dead for a while, so I dumped the coffee.
My espresso maker I use for coffee, was too hot to make another so I was sufering, until my Wife made me a fresh cup using her French Press.
Thank God, I coulda died.
And no I’m geting ready for work.
Last night we had Louisa and Mike and Kurt over for dinner. I made a whole tenderloin, my favortite thing to make. And I used big red potatoes instead of the normal baking potatoes and they were great! Much better than the baking potatoes.
So, have a great day! Avert disasters like I did today, thanks to my Wife!
Blah Zay
I’m sitting here with my coffee, and I can’t think of anything to post. I have a list of topics thaht I looked at, but none seem to interest me today.
I had a good run/swim/exercise session. I make my step goal yesterday. All is good, but I don’t feel so great. I mean, my head doesn’t hurt, my body doesn’t hurt,
I think I just need a break from something, I don’t know what.
I’ll be alright after a few more coffees I rekkon.
Have a great day!
Musical Wall
This is the sound of me tapping pieces of steel poking out of an incomplete concrete wall. In the background you can hear cars, chickens, and the squeak of my squeaky flip flops!
Why yes! I AM easily amused!
Disgruntled Exerciser
I made my step goal for 33 Days. I didn’t make it last night because the battery on my device died. I was way the hell out there, far away, when it died. I would have made the goal. I DID make the goal, but the device didn’t register it, and my record of 33 days is shattered. I had already left home when I got the 10% battery warning. I turned the GPS off when I got a low battery warning. I actually saw it die.
This morning, I didn’t exercise at all. No run no walk no swim.
Sure, it’s my fault. It reminds me of so many things that are my fault, but I couldn’t have prevented them. I could have re-charged my device, before I got a 10% battery warning. Not sure why I’d do that, but I could have. I was already out before I got the warning. I could have shut the GPS off sooner, but who would think it could use up 10% in less than an hour? I simply thought “I’ll have to plug it in to recharge when I get home.” I DID shut it off when I got the “low battery” warning, but I still didn’t really think it would die.
Now I’m starting over. 33 days will be hard to beat.
