It is c-c-cold here! Cool breeze from the south, probably more than a breeze, steady wind. Solid high clouds with the lower rainclouds underneath. I’m wearing a hoodie jacket.

I had no idea what to post yesterday, and the feeling remains today.

But it’s Friday, that’s good! And the wife returns from Costa Rica tomorrow. Coffee’s good today, compared to weak, like day before yesterday. That’s good! The weather was good yesterday, That’s good! Weatherman said rain and it was sunny! Better than vice versa! When I was a working in radio, I always said “boring is good.”

Life can still be good, even in the dead zone.

Most of you know I work at the airport. And most of you know the airport is getting a major upgrade. And maybe, like a lot of workplaces, you know that I’m not supposed to post about the goings-on at work.

BUT! Most of you know that I work down the road a piece from the actual airport, near where the ATC Tower is, and yesterday I had to go to the airport terminal for some training. Walking there, and I saw these guys working on the new roof.

I would like to go up there, just to see the view, and walk on that curved roof… Not going to happen, but I think the pics are pretty neat!

Several weeks ago, the stalk of a banana plant broke, and the bananas quit growing. I cut the plant down and left the bananas on the porch. They ripened. They’re almost as big around as your thumb, but longer. I ate one, and it was good, but most of them, you can’t peel. So I threw them back in the banana patch as fertilizer. I mourn the loss of my bananas. Woe is me!

And most of you know that it’s cloudy here and supposed to rain. And my coffee is weak. Life is rough.

Last night was a night of weird dreams, I remember them all, and I remember them not at all. I remember a passed out on the floor old man, very skinny, and I was getting ready to give him CPR and ventilate him. I remember another drunk guy, so drunk that he was staggering around, barely able to stand, but there were dozens of elastic strings attached to his glass that went out like wheel spokes to the walls, so he couldn’t spill his drink. I remember being at my old FM transmitter site, and I wsn’t supposed to be there. I remember power dropping off one transmitter and then came back up. There were candy vending machines next to the transmitters and they looked the same. I dreamt about tourists in an overheating Chevrolet van with a leaky radiator. Tey asked me for help, and I took the whole engine out, looking for the leak and then found a black rubber hose in the bottom of the completely empty engine compartment with water coming out. I was thinking that I had no idea where the hose was supposed to go and that I had no idea how to put the engine back together.

I guess that’s when I woke up.

I had no idea what I was going to write when I sat down, and all this just flowed out.

Yesterday it rained pretty hard, but not for very long. I haven’t checked the weather yet today, but yesterdays said rain all week.

I just went and looked, here it is:

It’s pretty much the only weather I use for local weather. It’s a cool website, not an app. If you go to the website, see the button in the left collum that says “Ships Near”? That’s pretty cool too. You can zoom out and slide it around and see all the ships at sea all over the world. The weather comes from sombodies little private weather station at their house I think.

Aaaaand I rekkon that’s about it for today. I don’t feel good, I don’t feel bad, perfectly neutral. It’s weird asking myself how I feel and not being able to figure the answer. Am I crazy?

I saw this on Facebook last night and laughed out loud. Seriously, how often, when you’re alone, or in public, do you actually laugh out loud? People type “LOL” all the time, but people seldom do it. I read once that readers preferred to read “Ha Ha” over “LOL”

I guess nobody liked my Friday Porno post. Probably because of the word “porno” in the title. My readers are pretty much a “G” rated bunch. (that rhymes)

It was a nice weekend, I mowed the yard and went to the beach. I also modified my espresso spoon. I ordered one of these on Amazon.

but it was too short, so I sawed it in half, put a dowel in the middle, with epoxy and four nuts and bolts, wood stained it, and now it looks like this:

I really like it. It now reaches to the bottom of my coffee container, and makes your coffee taste better.

It’s a beautiful morning, but the weatherman says 85% chance of rain. In fact, he says rain all week. So I won’t be riding the scooter today.

It was super hard to wake up this morning, the past several days, I’ve been waking up at 4:30, before the alarm, and getting up, and enjoying the mornings. Not today! I feel good though.
