it was a great weekend. When diving Saturday and Sunday. Took the dog to the beach and the new car, tested out the four-wheel drive. There’s not really anywhere on this island that needs four-wheel drive, really. But at least I know it works.

I’m pretty happy with the vehicle now. I got rid of the bicycle tires it came with, blacked out the rear windows on a whim (better hide the dive gear in the back) and got a good roof rack. It is really fun to drive with the 5 speed and keeps getting better.

We have a storm coming. It looks like it will pass between Grand Cayman and Little Cayman.

I remember Hurricane Charlie passed between the islands years ago and Grand Cayman barely got any weather at all. But we can’t be complacent and we have to prepare for the worst! I never really got “un-prepared” from the last time.

Other than the storm, it’s a typical Monday and I hope you have a good week!

I have Glaucoma , epi-retinal.membrane, and in one eye, cataracts. I take drops morning and night for the glaucoma, and a different eyedrop just before bed. These eyedrops dry the surface of my eye till it’s painful. I used to used a lot of eyedrops that you buy at the grocery store. All day and waking up a few times at night to go the bathroom to put eye drops in.

Then I discovered gelatinous eye drops, a drop of slime for your eyes! Best thing since sliced bread.

I get them at the pharmacy, no prescription required just ask, they keep them behind the counter. I drop in each eye and you’re good for hours and hours.

the only downside is blurry vision for about 5 minutes. Can’t read or drive during that short time.

But they’re great! I real lifesaver.
