Cooking Weekend

Friday I made meatloaf . It was pretty good. Saturday I made tuna casserole except I used salmon instead of tuna. It was OK, except there were salmon vertebra in the canned salmon.. Somewhat unpleasant. I wouldn’t give it to anyone. Sunday I made a $35 brisket. All pre seasoned ready to go in the oven. It is so spicy I ate about two bites. I’m taking it for lunch today, but I’ll probably end up throwing the whole thing out.

Speaking of throwing things out, last Friday I bought new dog beds. Daisy already ate one. $90 I might as well have thrown away. She ate the last two too

It was a good weekend anyway . The sea yesterday was spectacular. No horizon. The boats were floating on nothingness.

I also trimmed the hedges and mowed the yard.

And now it’s Monday, and Canadian Thanksgiving. If my lunch is too foul I can go get a big turkey dinner!

Best Sleep In Years

Last night I slept good for the first time in years. I didn’t even get up once and usually I get up half a dozen or a dozen times. I still only got a fair sleep score but a new I slept good when I woke up 5 minutes before the alarm. Hope I can do it again!

One Word Throwoff

i like doing the crossword from the newspaper. This particular one was frustrating. I put AURA instead of HALO (top left across) and was stumped. The whole puzzle was practically blank. Once I realized the error of my ways, and switched it to HALO, the while puzzle fell into place and was done in about five minutes.

One word threw off the whole puzzle, quite unique.

Bizzy Weekend

it was a busy,.full weekend. Friday I had a dinner that was very nice. Saturday was quite typical but I bought a new weed whacker to tame the yard enough to mow. It was a real jungle. Yesterday and a beach yoga morning followed by breakfast. Then I finished up the yardwork. Also I found some water damage 8n that apartment that I started to repair. I leak by the sliding glass door caused a couple pieces of rotten baseboard. I patched the leak (hopefully) and need to finish the baseboard. (Had a helluva time cutting the 45⁰ angles for a corner.) I have a tenant moving in tomorrow so I need to get this expedited today!

Last night I went out to a nice dinner.

And my American Football team lost. In overtime. Away.

And it’s a regular workday today.

its Friday and I’m very glad. I feel much better today than yesterday.

I was having problems with my bank, but got it sorted. Now I’m ready for an overly busy weekend..

ive been going through (another) period where there seems to be no topics for me to post about, or, I don’t like the posts I post.

Ive gotten to the point where I’m going to accept being single. I’ve asked everybody I’m interested in out, they all said no, there’s nobody.

Seems like

I’m 63, I don’t want to be looking for a girlfriend like some teenager, I want to be in an established marriage. The fact that I’m in a situation where I’m looking for a partner is embarrassing and humiliating.

theres worse things than being single.

Back To The Ratrace

Im back to work today, seems like I’ve been gone from work a long time.

here it’s rainy again, steady rain. I haven’t checked the weather, a hurricane could be bearing down on us and I wouldn’t know. (I’d probably know).

I feel neutral and flat mentally this morning, not good, not bad, just in-the-moment,-let’s-see-what’s-next kinda.

But all is well!
