Ash Wednesday Day Off

Today is a day off work. I’m probably going to the beach with my mother and sister. Maybe a cruise around the island too.

Yesterday, i couldn’t get on to post. The site came back up before I had a chance to look into it.

if I look out my front (east) window, it looks like it is going to be a cloudless, sunny day. If I look out my north facing window, it looks like it’s going to pour rain any minute.

When I got home yesterday, I saw an email from my web page host about an outage. This is an email account not on my phone. Ergo, that’s why I was not being able to get on yesterday. So all’s well that ends well.

This morning, Daisy got off the leash. It’s a pinch collar and I saw it just drop off of her. Can they get old and become un-sprung?

And it’s Friday. I’m glad. This was my first full week since I started taking Fridays off in my “Use it or lose it scheme last year.

Flat Tire

I have a flat tire on my van, and I have to fix it before I go to work. So I’m running late before I even start the morning. It’s still pitch black outside, so I might as well have my coffee and post my post. As you may have guessed, post posting is top priority. Even when I fund it difficult to produce a post to post..

I’m ready to move into next year. Never before have I wanted things to change more. And for me to change.

Congratulations or Condolences?

When I tell someone my divorce is final they usually say “congratulations”. That’s not how I see it. I guess, for me people should say condolences. For her, congratulations are in order. I guess.

I’m kind of torn on how much personal stuff I should put here on this blog. On one hand, I don’t want it to be this emotional cry baby place, On the other hand I want to be able to come back in a year and know what was going on inside my head, something I can’t always do.

It’s another “use it or lose it” Friday, no plans, really.

Back To Work After 4th of July Weekend.

It was a good long weekend. I’m depressed to be back at work.

There was a film festival this weekend. the Wife won tickets. I went with her and saw a special on Pink floyd, The Wall with Roger Waters. The Wife took friends to other films throughout the weekend. While I kicked back at home.

SUnday night we had a chicken wing party at the house. First time I ever made wings on the grill. They were good.

Sometime during the weekend, my blog went down. Chris at Diet Coke Rocks alerted me that it was down. This morning it said “Connection Refused”refused

When I got to work I called 101 Domain and by the time I talked to anyone, it was back up again.

And that’s my weekend report.

Forgot My Post

Had a post for today. Simple, quick, entertaining. Impossible to forget.  I can’t remember what it was. I’ve been thinking about it almost since my post yesterday, all day. Now, post time, the mind clears.

Fridge Died Phone Died Internet Down

Last Friday our fridge quit working. Got it fixed Saturday. Tuesday night, it died again. Repairman said it’s dead this time.

Yesterday my new-ish phone the LG G4 died. I was looking at Google news, when the phone crashed and got stuck on the reboot screen. I moved back to my old Samsung S III.

I’m on the back porch, contemplating taking a sick day so I can get a new refrigerator.

Also, the internet has been off and on for days. I planned on posting from work yesterday, but the internet was down till lunch.

What a week!
