The Call Of The Cthulhu
I didn’t like it. But!
I thought Call of Cthulhu was the final book of the challenge… 16, because there was one I DNF (Did Not Finish) so I i lost count somehow.. The total this year is 17, not 18. So far!
And, another milestone
500 days of OM Meditation, standard is 6 minutes a day. 7 minutes a lot of time, never less than 5. Here’s to 500 more!
The tilers are tiling already this morning. They’re supposed to be done today, but who knows? The heat and sun have been more than they expected.

Tiling Day Two
Yesterday we carried a whole heaps tile and thinset from downstairs all the way up to the roof. This morning, the guys showed up just before 6:30 and they’re up there now, cutting and tiling.
It’s going to be nice when it’s done.
Tiling Today
the tiling of the sun deck starts today. I’m taking off work for 3 days to guard the workers from the guard dogs. Here’s a “before” shot.

Monday Weekend Ender
It was a very nice weekend. Friday, quiet at home, Saturday, Street Food Fest, which was very nice, better than previous years. Sunday morning was rainy, and I had breakfast with Miriam, one of my favorite people on earth.
Above is “Toast” with bananas and strawberries, blueberries and chocolate.
It was sunny in the early afternoon and I got a lot of pressure washing done before it started majorly thunderstorming. It’s quite busy out there…

Monday Upload
Another Monday today. It was a productive weekend. I did a LOT of pressure washing on my sundeck-roof. Had a contractor come and he’s giving me a quote to tile. So hopefully no more pressure washing and painting. Less maintenance. It’s a lot more work than I expected. I’m just over half way.
i did go diving yesterday morning, as you can deduce from the photos!

Bland Weekend
i did very little this weekend except pressure washing my roof. It’s turning into a much bigger job than anticipated.
Short Weekend
Yesterday seemed like Saturday. No fair, sending me back to work today.
I started pressure washing my roof again, I have had to repaint it about every two years. This time I think I’m going to get it tiled with some white outdoor ceramic tile.
I hurt my back this weekend , but after a worrisome day yesterday, I think it’s gonna be ok
Tomorrow is August already.

Back To Work After Discovery Day.
I went diving yesterday pretty uneventful. But it was a nice dive Below are a few pics.
I oiled this old table with Teak Oil, also, it came out pretty good. And the wood really loves it. The stains are still visible through the oil. It was a lot of work, getting all the nooks and crannies. This table folds to half a table, a whole table or no table at all for storage! I also did some housecleaning.
It was a good, satisfying weekend. I don’t mind having to go back to work today.

Lisa All Clear
We’ve been given the all clear from Tropical Storm Lisa. She’s expected to curve way south now.
I hope hurricane season is over now.
I went to bed early last night, told myself not to worry when I woke up super early. I woke up earlier than usual, but it was ok.
I dreamed about painting the inside of my house. (I’m still waiting for the money to catch up so I can do the outside). Then I started thinking about proactive spending versus reactive spending. Weirdness in the dream world.
