Weekend Wrapped Up.

Let me start by saying, I binge-watched Stranger Things season 4. It was quite good. Worth watching, definitely.

Yesterday, went diving, below are pictures, with captions, of course.

Ava the avocado tree in the ground!

Above, you will see a tree for which I dug a whole hole, twice as deep as it needed. I put a lot of good potting soil underneath. The tree is a she, and her name is Ava the Avocado tree.

And now, it is Monday, and I must again report for jury duty. I am not looking forward to it. Hopefully I can dodge that bullet again.

Have a fantabulous week!

Wednesday Weirdness

its a Wednesday and I’m drawing a blank for a post today. My meditation class has been over for a week but I’m still practicing daily. I seem to be in a better state of mind overall I guess.

i had a lot of weird dreams last night. A gear shifter on a large truck with the red knob alongside, thinking I should at least hang a picture in an empty room that had no furniture or windows. And all this stuff that I should read but the list kept getting longer and longer until it was impossible.

im expecting a quiet day at work today. One out sick and one on vacation. I have a ways to go before I get caught up at work. Next Monday I report again for jury doodie. (Yes, I spelled that how I intended) I’m thinking about wearing the exact same clothes and acting the exact same way so I hopefully won’t get picked again.

Anyway, i hope you’ll have a wonderful day.

Viruslike Adverts

its a not-so-new thing with a lot of apps, like YouTube, to employ qualities of malware and viruses from the past. I’m talking about full screen pop up ads that capture the devices full screen, covering the back button and home buttons in an attempt to force one to watch an ad or other content .

its an ever- increasing feature of more and more apps, like YouTube.

i have an app killer, and adverts like this usually end my use of the app, a lifelong boycott of the advertiser and either a different app that does the same thing, or an older version of the same app, and then make sure the auto update turned off.

A lot of the time, the ad lasts longer than the reason I was checking the app for in the first place.

There’s only two things I don’t like, the way things are, and change! Have a great day!

Natural :-) VS Natural :-(

When I see an unexpected reflection of myself, I tend to be surprised at how mean I look, or angry, or unhappy. I never seem to look how I feel. I have a natural frowny face.

People with naturally smiley faces must live completely different lives. New people would tend to be less cautious and wary, instead of wondering “What’s going on with this guy?”

I think someone would be more likely to initiate communication with a happy or nice looking person than a mean, angry looking person.

I’ve noticed it many times, I walk down the street and see a reflection of myself in the store window and almost jump out of my skin. Glance up at the thumbnail of me on the virtual meeting, cringe, and try to erase the scowl. I feel fine, and I’m in a good mood, but it’s shocking to unexpectedly see how mean I look.

Be thankful if you have a naturally smiling face.

Have a fantastic day, smile!
