I was an alright weekend. It was cloudy and windy a lot, but not when it counted. I participated in a 800 meter sea swim 🏊♂️ on Saturday and it was sunny. Sunday, because of the wind, a rather large branch fell off one of my trees and I chainsawed it to pieces and threw it in the bush.
And I did a lot of cleaning and ate too much.
And now it’s back to work!

Yesterday I had a first aid class for work, When I was an active scuba instructor, I was an active first aid instructor for teaching rescue diver. And I was first aid trained as a lifeguard too. A lot has changed in the first aid world over the years.

Happy Thursday, or Pre-Fridayday. Things are good, the weather’s been great and tonight we’re going again to the Westin Movie Night. Wife thinks they’re playing Dirty Dancing but I heard they’re playing Top Gun.
I got my friend’s number that I lost, mentioned yesterday. Still don’t know whatever happened to that piece of paper….
I’m still reading Ready Player Two. LIke I previously said, it has not-so-hot reviews but I think it’s great.
Book two makes me have to go back and re-read the first one because in my brain, I think I’m mixing up the book and the movie. With Ready Player One, the book and the movie are both totally the same and completely different. You’ll have to experience both to see what I mean.

Above are pictures from this mornings dawg walk. Somebody has a mirror on a light pole. It’s been very cloudy, cold and windy since Sunday afternoon.
It’s so cold that yesterday, during lunchtime, I took a nap in my van and it wasn’t even hot. I slept good for 55 minutes. Perfect timing. Looking at the wind chart above, maybe today will be a good day for a lunchtime swim!

There was a boy, dropped off by the side of the road as punishment for throwing stones missing almost a week before being found today or yesterday.
When I was a kid, I did my best to not modify my behavior when punished, to illustrate that punishment was inffective.
Good job kid, I’d say you kicked ass!
In other news, we got a new fridge yesterday. Two and a half thousand dollars… My phone died, I called the manufacturer because of a one year warranty, and they say the IMEI number isn’t valid. Sounds like a loada hooie to me. Meanwhile, I’m getting my ancient Galaxy S III fired up again.
And it’s Friday. Rainy all weekend, don’t care.

Last Friday our fridge quit working. Got it fixed Saturday. Tuesday night, it died again. Repairman said it’s dead this time.
Yesterday my new-ish phone the LG G4 died. I was looking at Google news, when the phone crashed and got stuck on the reboot screen. I moved back to my old Samsung S III.
I’m on the back porch, contemplating taking a sick day so I can get a new refrigerator.
Also, the internet has been off and on for days. I planned on posting from work yesterday, but the internet was down till lunch.
What a week!
It’s Monday. It is clear and cool after an afternoon and evening of rain.
We needed the rain. It was the first real rain in a very long time. We have watched it rain in town many times without getting a drop.

Last night the Wife and I watched the movie “The Lincoln Lawyer”, it was quite good. Highly recommended to see in the theater or on TV.
Lawyer’s defending a client for assault and finds out he’s guilty. Also, his client framed someone for the assault. AND he enjoys seeing innocent people go to jail for his crimes. AND he’s done it before. Super good. Much better than expected.
Thursday. Nice day. I feel like taking the car instead of motorcycle though. don’t really know why. Traffic. Parking. Everything’s a hassle with a car. Motorcycle’s the way to go.
We’ll see.
