I Can Now Sit Down

It is 6:48. I got up at 4:55. I just now got to the point where my morning routine is done and I can finally sit down with my coffee. In 9 minutes, I have to leave for work. I have a pretty intensive morning routine. Feed dogs and cats, water plants. Walk dogs, exercise, shower shave and things like that.

its pretty good. It’s a nice morning this morning. Perfect temperature. Yesterday was better though, a little more breeze. This morning, the moon was half covered by clouds, all morning till it set. It was like the clouds didn’t move, for an hour.

Lisa All Clear

We’ve been given the all clear from Tropical Storm Lisa. She’s expected to curve way south now.

I hope hurricane season is over now.

I went to bed early last night, told myself not to worry when I woke up super early. I woke up earlier than usual, but it was ok.

I dreamed about painting the inside of my house. (I’m still waiting for the money to catch up so I can do the outside). Then I started thinking about proactive spending versus reactive spending. Weirdness in the dream world.

Finally, it’s Friday. Today is Ashy’s vet day. I’m thinking I should leave her here and come pick her up before instead of taking her to work with me.

It was a thundery, lightning-y rainy night last night. It fits my mood this morning.

Eight Billion

Before the end of this year, the 8 billionth person will be born. 8 billion people alive on this earth.

i remember in grade school, one day the teacher told us the world hit 3 billion. The article where I got the image above mentions 4 billion.

I’ve heard opinions that the world is at its maximum population right now. Could be. Seems like things are getting bad quicker and quicker.

Anyway, i saw the picture above, thought it was cool and decided to post about it. I didn’t mean to turn it into a doom and gloom post.

Hurricane Ian tore thru Florida yesterday and last night, we’ll be hearing about that today. Tomorrow I report to be on an actual jury. After that, my jury duty should be over.

All Clear, Back To Work

Ian is on the far side of Cuba, getting ready to hit the gulf coast of Florida as a category 4 hurricane. I wish the people there and in Cuba the best.

i hope we’re done with the storms in this hurricane season.

i don’t have much to say today, just heading back to work.

Lucky Ian So Far

So far, tropical storm hurricane Ian has been uneventful. I walked the dogs this morning and it wasn’t raining. I saw some stars walking them last night.

Payday Thursday

Today is payday. Today is Thursday. Today is payday Thursday. I need to go shopping, mostly for dog food and cat food. Coincidentally my two dogs and my five cats both consume one bag of dog food every 10 days. Therefore, on paydays, I usually buy three bags of dog food and three bags of cat food. Today however because of the weather there are many panic buyers in the stores and it is very crowded. So I’m dreading stopping by the store on the way home from work today.

We’re probably going to get some weather at the beginning of next week.

in other news, yesterday I was selected for a jury. My case starts Monday. I’ve been picked each and every time. Even though I was able to get out of it a couple of times.

That red one at the bottom is coming at us. I’m sure we’re going to get some weather from it.

Happy hump day. Today I again report for jury duty. Again with the dread. Only two weeks and my time in the jury pool is over.
