A Successful Weekend
I looked up successful weekend on the internet and found this:
Nah, A successful weekend to me is coming home Friday, and not leaving the compound till Monday
It was a windy cold cloudy weekend, perfect for staying home, which is what I did.
Saturday I got up, drank some coffee, then took a nap, and got up again, all before most people even get up the first time. I’m kinda an overachiever like that. Sunday I took a really really good nap around noon, I don’t know how long I was out for, but it was a deep deep sleep.
Football was good yesterday, Redskins lost but there were a lot of really close games.
Now it’s a ho hum Monday. Looking forward to getting a lot done this week, not talking about work either.

Casual Friday, a Protest
Who invented Causal Friday? It’s stupid, it doesn’t rhyme, and the words don’t even start with the same letter.
Every day all week should be like casual Friday. And Fridays should be….
Wait for it….
FORMAL FRIDAY!
Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? Snappy sounding, both words start with the same letter, and you couldn’t do any work because you’d mess up your clothes!
Alternatively, I found this: It seems like it could be a good idea too.

Fri-Hii-Hiiiiiii-Day!
Yeay! It’s FRIDAY!
Pink sky, cool breeze, You can’t really see the pink because of the crappy camera. but it’s there. But you can feel the breeze, right?
Last night I slept all the way through, I didn’t even wake up once, till about 4:30, half hour before the alarm went off. I can’t remember the last time I slept all the way through the night. Years and years and years.

I don’t know if I mentioned it, but I got the real estate job. I have to take the tests and get registered and still have at least two months before I can start trying to make money. But it’s a route out of the box. Maybe I’ll be good at it.

Goodish Weekend

Ditto’s OK for now
Ditto had a rough weekend. But yesterday afternoon he started acting like he felt better. We were worried, because he wasn’t eating, but then his appetite kicked it.

It’s Monday, and I have the attitude to prove it. Just let me hang on till lunchtime, I’m going to the beach, rain or shine.

NFL’s Worst Year
For me, this has been the worst year for NFL Football that I can ever remember. Without exception, whatever game I have watched or looked at, the team I want to win has lost.
I wanted to watch one good game yesterday. Nary a one.
Woke up last night at 2 AM, my first thought was “Good, it’s still early enough to go to sleep”. At 3:30 I was thinking “In a half hour, the I’ll only have an hour before I have to get up.” I seem to have insomnia only on weeknights. I sleep good on the weekends.
These birds just landed next to me.
It’s Monday. Blah.

I sat down here at 6:16. Sunrise is at 6:16
The sun hasn’t cleared the trees and houses yet, but it’s up.
Poor attitude this morning.
Another Monday, a long way till payday.
It was a pretty nice weekend. We didn’t do anything except watch TV. I hate TV. I got rid of TV in the late ’80’s. The Wife got it turned on. Now I get a bill on my credit card, every month.
Saturday night we went to a murder mystery dinner party. “What The Butler Saw”. It was fun. I didn’t kill him, he was already dead when I went to kill him. That’s me in the back, Oscar Hemmingway III. I’m the one with the gun.
So it’s back to work, I feel bad because there was a lot of wasted time this weekend. Wasted time ruins a life, whether at the beginning or the end, bit it’s more noticeable at the end.

Blog Neglect
After reviewing my posts for the past week, I am amazed that I forgot to tell you that last weekend I went diving, and flooded my video camera. I apologize for this gross oversight.
On the bright side, I’m getting a new video camera, and I expect it to arrive today!
Drift Ghost-S Action Camera
The camera is waterproof to 3 meters, (10 feet) which isn’t good enough for my needs, so I also ordered:
The underwater case, good to 60 meters or 197 feet.
So I should be good to go again for awhile. This is a far superior camera and I was pretty impressed with the old one, so we’ll see how it goes! I know I’m gonna like it!
AND TODAY IS FRIDAY!
