Week Flying By Like A Comet!

This week has flown by. I can’t believe it’s Thursday already.

I got my scooter back yesterday. It seems to be running OK now. Call me paranoid, but now it seems the brakes are worse. I’m not taking it back.

In the news, at the end of this year, we should see a comet in our skies. AND, if it survives it’s trip around the sun, we should be able to see it in the DAYTIME! I remember that comet in 1997, Hale Bopp it was cool.

Comet_Hale-BoppI remember looking at it, and it was weird, because it felt like looking at something that you couldn’t quite focus on properly. I didn’t have my binoculars then. I got ’em now! I hope we get to see it!

Today should be a good day at work. I’m looking forward to the weekend. Let’s go lets go lets GO!

Monday Again

monday-againI feel like posting that same post again Bla blaa, bla bla bla bla.

It was not a very satisfying weekend. Took the dogs to the vet Saturday. Sunday went to the beach but it was very windy and rough. We stayed maybe a half hour. Now it’s Monday and I want a weekend “re-do”.

I wish the weeks away, and waste the weekends. When I wake up in the morning,  for the first second I feel joy, another day! Then I think “aww crap”, and try to go back to sleep.

I remember when I used to have a good time, all the time. What happened? I used to wake up earlier on the weekends than I did during the week, hit the ground running, go all day, and be glad Monday to get back to work, just so I could get some rest.

Nothing seems right.I don’t know what happened or when it happened.

Tuesday Monday

It’s Monday, but really it’s Tuesday.

Yesterday was the best day of the weekend. We went to the beach and snorkeling.[jwplayer config=”Player-320-480″ mediaid=”9659″]

Above is a photo and a super short (3 seconds) video of a triggerfish that hid as soon as I saw him.

And that’s about it. Also, last month, when The Wife went to Costa Rica, she brought me back a coffee cup gift from our cousins. It’s pretty  fancy, with the saucer and the spoon and everything…

markoffeeYodito means super strong coffee, and has something to do with iodine.

I have been working at the Airport for 6 months now. That means my probation is over. I have to get an evaluation to make it official. Today..

These are artificial reef balls. Shaped like a gumdrop. Not much seems to be growing on them though.

Monday Monday

I had a pretty good weekend, considering the Wife was gone. I had a sound job to keep me busy all weekend.

It was a pretty nice weekend, had a little rain on Sunday.

Got several pictures on my phone, can’t get them off. Another formerly great program, Kies Air, got upgraded and doesn’t work at all anymore. Maybe I can get them to you tomorrow.

Bird N’ Wasp

I had an alright weekend. I stayed home, getting over the cold I mentioned last week. I put my new camera in the birdbath and got some pretty cool video. Here’s a one hundred and seven second video from yesterday. Bird extreme closeup gets run off by a wasp.

It’s Monday, blah, but Wednesday is a holiday, so I prefer to think of it as two days on, one off, two on, two off. Then time to rethink my philosophy.

Like A Monday, But Better!

It was a pretty nice weekend. Yesterday was a holiday here. Friday night we went to Boogie Nights, disco70’s and 80’s music disco style at a restaurant. I tell ya boys, there were easily 10 girls for every guy.. That never happened when I was single. Got home around 1AM, I can’t tell you how long it’s been since I stayed out that late.

Saturday I went and got all two of our cars re-registered. When I got to the Motor Vehicle place, the line was out the door, but it moved quickly and only took about a half an hour. I filled out a critique sheet and gave them 10’s. AND I mowed the yard. the FRONT yard only. The back just didn’t need it… bad enough. I can’t remember much about Saturday.

Sunday we went to the beach and went snorkelingCamera 14MP-9PCThen we made steaks on the grill.

Yesterday was Heroes Day, kind of like Veterans Day in the USA. The Wife went to an All Girls birthday party and I stayed home. All day I was so frikkin tired, I have no idea why. I took two naps and went to bed early. And I made hamburgers on the grill.

Now it’s like a Monday, but it’s not, it’s TUESDAY!
