I can’t remember this ones name

A flyover of a barrel sponge, boring for all you divers, but still cool to me!

It’s Monday, I’m on vacation, diving, I need to leave the house for the dive about the same time as I would if I was going to work, so my morning routine is about the same!
The diving has been great! I did 100 meters yesterday, and today I may do the same.
My rebreather is working well, and things are great!

Today is the day! Most of the people arrive today! A lot of my friends I haven’t seen in a year. We did a shallow dive yesterday, 140 feet, today and the rest of the week will probably be in the 300 foot range. Here’s a short video of my dive buddy, Josh Williamson, (You can find him on Facebook) He was a little deeper than me, I was at 140 so he was probably at 170 or 180. You can hear me calling him to make him look at the camera. Don’t laugh, the doorbell sound travels better underwater!

I think it officially starts tomorrow, but today I am diving the first day of my annual rebreather dive vacation: Inner Space.

I’ll be diving every day for the next week, most dives will be too deep for my camera, unfortunately.

I have approximately 480 hours of comp time, and 39 days of vacation, all to use before the end of the year.

So it looks like I’ll be working 3 day weeks for about the rest of 2009.

I don’t really view this as a good thing. I have work that I need to do.

I’d rather just be paid for my comp time. Comp time is hours I’ve worked extra that I have to be paid back for.

Not to mention that I’m worried about being bored.

This morning I woke up, had some breakfast and coffee, went back to bed for a nap, and got up again, all before most people got up the first time!

Boy, I gotta learn to take it easy!

Tomorrow the last of the wedding guests leave, my new brother in law and sister in law. It’s sad for me when guests leave.
