Got back from Florida late last night. Had fun taking pictures of Travlin’ Tim.
Still have a lot to learn about WordPress. There are at least three ways to post a post, and I have to learn the differences. Spent a lot of time trying to find how to do a photo album, which is what is above, now I ‘d like to put captions under the photos….. There’s a lot to learn!

Great Birthday Yesterday
Yesterday was one of my best birthdays ever. My Wife got me a garden gnome, a very cool one. His name is Travlin’ Tim. He is a relative of the one I posted a picture of a few days ago. A taller and thinner brother, I think.
WordPress is giving me a hard time today, I’ve been losing posts, it’s taking forever to upload, I just want to post this and get out of here! But on a positive note, when I have problems, I learn more! I found the good way to post a post that I was looking for earlier!
Happy Birthday To ME!
Today is my birthday, 52, that seems old. I still feel like I felt when I was a little kid. That’s my advice to younger people, don’t wait till you grow up, because you never grow up/
I will take any advice from older people I can get. Or younger people.

Cranky Don’t Care
I’ve been reading the news, trying to come up with something to post.
Ernest Borgnine died. That’s a bummer.I didn’t know he was still alive. We need to know who’s still alive, not who’s dead.
My Grandfather was 22 when Ernest Borgnine was born. I enjoyed every minute he was on camera. Ernest was in the US Navy-twice.
NASA released a panorama image (or video?) from the Mars Rover. Very disappointing because although the news articles tell you about it, none of them seem to actually show the video/image whatever it is. There is a little crappy video with most articles, crappy video not worth an article.
Last night I woke up every 15 minutes or so all night, with deep sleep in between. Like I wake up thinking it’s morning and it’s still 11:45, then 12:02, then 12:20, all night long.
I guess I’m in a crappy mood, judging from this post. Oh well. Don’t Care!

These top two are Christmas Tree Worms. If you get too close to them they disappear by suddenly pulling themselves inside their tubes.
I call these gray fish “Happy Fish” because of their smiling mouth. The one below actually bit me on my knuckle. The yellow and black striped ones are called Sargent Majors.
I think these are a type of Butterfly fish, and are usually found in pairs

Good Bye Chrome!
I’ve always liked Firefox. I have not been as fond of Firefox versions 4 and above, but started having problems with sites like Blogger and some others saying that my browser was outdated. So I installed Chrome, and kept Firefox version 3.xx.
Chrome sucked. It was slow, click the icon to open it and go get coffee, come back and it was still opening. No menu bar. So your only access to menu items was to right click. On images, on the Blogger post site, Chrome would deselect the image when you right clicked it, so you couldn’t cut and copy or paste an image in your post. You had to try and drag it I guess.
So yesterday I uninstalled Chrome and installed Firefox 13.
As I type this, it occurs to me that it maybe was Google Chrome that made me move from Blogger to WordPress, Both being Google products, you’d think they would work well together, apparently not.
Anyway, now I have Firefox 3.xx and Firefox 13.xx on my machine and am happy for now.
I’ll tell you why I like Firefox before version 4: Before version 4, you could access the cache, and use the files. For example, a news or YouTube video, I would copy the video, then upload it to my post. That way, the video (or any object) is part of my post, not a link that would die if someone moves or deletes their object, my target. This is especially true for a news video.
Anyway, I feel like I’m going on and on too much about this so I’m going to close now. Can’t figure out why I had problems posting yesterday, today is back to smooth sailing.
Feels like Friday…
Lost and confused
WordPress has operated flawlessly since I started, then suddenly I’m having problems. Twice I’ve tried to publish a post and get “Invalid Request” when I push the publish button. It seemed like if I uploaded one photo, it would replace the previous photo. Also I lost two posts and couldn’t find them in my drafts.
Also, what’s the difference between “Post a Photo Post” Post a Video Post” and ” Post a Post Post”? I assume a video and photo lets me post one video or photo.
It seems like this morning I found several new places to post a post from. Now I have to figure out the differences and how to get back there again.
In the posts I lost were the pics above, (which I expect to be three across, side by side) and my sadness that Andy Griffith passed away yesterday.
Lets see if I can publish this post. This is too much to lose, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll be pissed!
