My mother and sister arrived yesterday. They seem to like the apartment pretty well. My mother said it was much larger than she expected
I’m taking the day off work today. Nothing special planned. It rained a little on my morning dog walk.
In the news, Russia says it is looking for a diplomatic solution. The west seems to be ignoring this and threatening sanctions. Options are: make Ukraine a netural country, or do not let them jioin NATO. Ukraine joining NATO is understandiblly not an option for Russia.
Today is the ex wifes birthday. Happy Birthday ex wife!
i have been doing Duolingo for 186 days in a row. This morning I ran out of hearts and couldn’t complete the lesson. The audio I was to translate was unintelligible. And other petty keeerap!
i try to get perfect scores on Duolingo. It’s not that hard. But I think they make it hard to try and make.people pay.
Poor quality drives away customers, not attract it. Online business seems to think that if they promise a product, then fail to deliver and ask for money to do what they already said thy were going to do, the people will just throw money at them. No, I will go to someone who tells me what it costs upfront.
anyway, I’m all bent out of shape over something that is really nothing. I’ll have more hearts this afternoon and complete my lesson.

Today I have a renter arriving to stay in the apartment for about a week. After that my mom and sister come. I think I have at least one booking in March already too!
I went to movie night last night with a friend. I didn’t really like real movie, Four Weddings and a Funeral. But it’s always nice to be on the beach.

My fourth quarantiner moved in last night. His flight was supposed to arrive at 2PM but was delayed due to thunderstorms here and Miami. I rekkon he showed up at about 8 or 8:30.
A friend of mine, his marriage is breaking up too, called about the apartment, and came over and looked. He’s looking for more long term, but I told him it’s a good place to stay while he finds a place to stay.
Long time marriages breaking up… Must be something in the air.
I’ve been meaning to attend this for quite some time, maybe today is the day. There’s a different farmers market near where I work everyday, but it’s only full and busy on weekends. This once a week might be really good.
Got a letter yesterday from the power company, they want to put a-pole in next to an existing pole in my yard. The new pole ewill have 2 anchors in my yard. I guess it’s gonna be no big deal but I’m meeting the person from the power company this afternoon. I just hope they don’t recommend offense. They insure me they won’t.
I have a quarantiner moving into the apartment this morning, It’s only 5 days now people come on down! I have somebody else interested in renting it as soon as they move out on a month by month, basically looking for somewhere to stay while they find somewhere to stay. Then I’m expecting visitors in October!
For some reason I’m running quite late today, My exercise took longer than normal I think. And the dogs and I had the maximum length morning walk.
The weather app calls for thunderstorms today but right now it is perfectly clear. Scooter or motorcycle? The great daily dilemma.

Yesterday my short term renter moved out of the apartment and I will be trying to find a new short term renter. Now’s a good time to come visit the Cayman Islands. Twas a good weekend. We have a quarantiner staying in the apartment. Saturday the wife and I did some shopping and final touches getting the place ready. Our quaranteeny arrived late Saturday afternoon. After 24 hours, he says the apartment is marvelous.
Later this month, quarantine here in Cayman is going down from 14 days to 10 days. I’ll be glad when it goes down to zero (if you’re immunized).
Sunday, wifey went to a “Plant Swap” and I went diving and also got some sun.
Maybe there’ll be some underwater videos here tomorrow.
And I get my monthly co-void test this morning. Another Q-Tip up the nose…
