It’s a Holiday here. I have the day off but the wife is working, unfortunately. Below are some random pictures from the past week or so.

Today is the first day of winter, sounds ominous, but really it’s the day the days start getting longer again. I’m glad for this. It’s hard to wake up when it’s still dark..
What do you think of all the doomsday people, saying the Mayan Calendar predicts the end of the world today? I think it’s the same as going up into an abandoned house, seeing an old calendar on the wall, and saying “The people who lived here thought the world was going to end on Dec 31, 1998!:

Yesterday I went back to the same beach as yesterday, I went snorkeling near Spanish Bay and walked around a bit, taking pictures. While snorkeling, a frikkin remora tried to attach itself to me. Bastad. Normally they just keep hassling you but I kept chasing it until it went away.
Today I don’t know what is planned. Maybe go pick up a check. Renew the PO Box. Smoke a cigar….
Yesterday I rode my bicycle to the beach, I was exploring, looking for new spots and I went down this dirt road to a nice sandy beach. I found myself next to the old Spanish Bay Resort, which for reasons unknown to me, closed years ago. I went walking around taking some pics. From the road it is completely fenced off and kind of forgotten about.
Sad to see this great place falling apart. It is Caribbean, it’s not like the big hotels on Seven Mile Beach. I think this island needs more places like Spanish Bay was.

These top two are Christmas Tree Worms. If you get too close to them they disappear by suddenly pulling themselves inside their tubes.
I call these gray fish “Happy Fish” because of their smiling mouth. The one below actually bit me on my knuckle. The yellow and black striped ones are called Sargent Majors.
I think these are a type of Butterfly fish, and are usually found in pairs

WordPress has operated flawlessly since I started, then suddenly I’m having problems. Twice I’ve tried to publish a post and get “Invalid Request” when I push the publish button. It seemed like if I uploaded one photo, it would replace the previous photo. Also I lost two posts and couldn’t find them in my drafts.
Also, what’s the difference between “Post a Photo Post” Post a Video Post” and ” Post a Post Post”? I assume a video and photo lets me post one video or photo.
It seems like this morning I found several new places to post a post from. Now I have to figure out the differences and how to get back there again.
In the posts I lost were the pics above, (which I expect to be three across, side by side) and my sadness that Andy Griffith passed away yesterday.
Lets see if I can publish this post. This is too much to lose, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll be pissed!

I was having lunch by the pool in Little Cayman and I noticed this hot babe staring at me. She was a little thin.
Hot babes like this don’t want anything to do with you if you’re single, but once you get married, they’re all over the place, leering at you! She just stared at me the whole time I was eating, quite rude, actually!
