Wait A Few Days

I have no idea what I’m going to post about today.

Refering to yesterday and my lost Kindle Scribe case, there is no employee by the name given by the Amazon driver. And the office wasn’t even open that day it was allegedly delivered. Amazon is looking into it, and will email me in a few days, but my gut says gone.

Also missing is a Washington Commie shirt. Allegedly delivered by DHL. My delivery agent says it’s probably at the post office, we should wait a few days..

So I’m waiting a few days….

Its almost Friday, unfortunately there is allegedly a nuther weather system moving in to spoil the weekend..

c’est la vie. That’s French. It means Say La Vee. Say La Vee means: Don’t lose any sleep over it.

Wet Wednesday

this weather has kind of thwarted my vacation plans of diving, going to the beach, and doing yard work.. yesterday, around noon we had a few Sunny hours but then it re-clouded and re-rained. I’m not as upset by the cancellation of my plans as I would think I would be, which is okay. However I cannot fathom the disappointment and frustration that you, my millions of daily readers, must be experiencing, as this inactivity leads to my lack of material to post about.

I will try to not let it bother me, please try to do the same. Have a good day and stay dry.

All’s Well That Ends Well

The weekend ended up pretty good. I had a terrible sleep Friday night and Saturday night, but made up for it last night. Slept good.

Got the yard mowed and laundry done. It’s nice and cool, good for sleeping with the doors and windows open. Got the car fixed, not sure I mentioned it last week.

We might have a storm coming

We”re under a warning, but the storm is looking like it’s going to go much further south than it was showing last night.

Im working 3 day weeks until next year. Use it or lose it vacation.

A Band Of Chickens

I notice lately that there always seems to be a group of half a dozen or so chickens in my back yard. Digging huge pits. I don’t know what made them decide to start hanging out back there but I wish I knew a way to get rid of them. (If I left the dogs out, I’d probably be rid of the cats too and probably end up with a worse hole digging problem;)

So, any suggestions? Chicken repellant?

Wednesday Weirdness

its a Wednesday and I’m drawing a blank for a post today. My meditation class has been over for a week but I’m still practicing daily. I seem to be in a better state of mind overall I guess.

i had a lot of weird dreams last night. A gear shifter on a large truck with the red knob alongside, thinking I should at least hang a picture in an empty room that had no furniture or windows. And all this stuff that I should read but the list kept getting longer and longer until it was impossible.

im expecting a quiet day at work today. One out sick and one on vacation. I have a ways to go before I get caught up at work. Next Monday I report again for jury doodie. (Yes, I spelled that how I intended) I’m thinking about wearing the exact same clothes and acting the exact same way so I hopefully won’t get picked again.

unaccounted for

it’s Monday morning, and I can’t tell you where the weekend went. It just went by too fast. Saturday was good and busy. Sunday I was supposed to dive but it didn’t work out. I did some yard work and the planters are ready for dirt now.

322 days on my streak.

i don’t have anything to post about. I’m actually glad to be going back to work.

Good Stuff: Simple Green

Back when I was actively teaching scuba in Virginia Beach, and working on diving equipment, we could only use Simple Green to O2 clean the inside of scuba tanks and dive gear. (Petroleum product contamination is a fire hazard under high concentrations of oxygen)

So, just the other month, I saw some and picked up a gallon to use as dishwashing soap. Since then, I’ve been using it everywhere. I put a little in a gallon of water for windshield washer fluid, great! I put it in my hand soap dispenser in my bathroom, seems fine for washing hands.

I bought a gallon, thinking it would last for ever, and already I’m getting ready to need more.

Try it, you’ll like it!
