The First Post Entitled “Friday”

I almost typed “Friday” for the title, There’s probably several that have already been given the same name.

But it is Friday! Hooo-Ray!

Today I have to take part 2 of the real estate test. I do not have high confidence on passing. I found the section on contracts most confusing and contradictory at times.

Tomorrow is mini golf with friends followed by food and American football. Hopefully that’ll be it for weekend plans. I just want to veg out.

Here’s a tip. Get some of the cheap hot chocolate mix that comes in the pouches. Make it using coffee instead of hot water. Super good!

Cigars Are More Like Pie & Coffee Than Cigarettes & Tobacco

I miss my Cigars. I haven’t smoked a cigar in probably 8 or 10 weeks.

Cigars are more like pie and coffee than cigarettes and tobacco. I used to smoke cigarettes when I was in the Navy, I quit when I got out. With cigarettes, you gotta smoke a cigarette every 10 minutes or you go crazy. Cigars, if you’re on a plane or in  a meeting, no big deal. You never NEED a cigar like a cigarette smoker needs a cigarette.

Nope, cigars are more like pie and coffee. After you have a good slice of pie and a cuppa great coffee, you sit back and think, “Dang, that was good. I look forward to when I get to do that again.” You don’t become addicted and need pie and coffee every 10 minutes.

Exactly like a cigar.

Happy Thursday! Almost the weekend! Above is a picture I took just now, because the picture makes the post! Or ruins it, as may be the case here.

I got nothing planned to post about. The weather’s been good, works been sucking it and I’m living for my time off.

I think my Windows Laptop died. I’m pure Android now. On my laptop, the display is too dark to see, I can pull the plug and reboot it, but after the screen saver kicks in, and then it goes to sleep, it won’t come back when I move the mouse. If you stand at the right angle, you can see the display is there, just too dark.

Tomorrow is Friday, unless you live on the  far side of the date line, then it’s Friday already! YEay!

Rainy Winter Friday

Oh what a difference a day makes!

Yesterday was sunny and hot, today is cloudy  and cold.. It rained hard yesterday afternoon and last night, today, promises more of the same.

Today I was going to load up the kayak and head for East End to try and find the wreck I saw from the air. However the weather isn’t good for such ventures. So, at the moment, I don’t know what I’ll do today.

I’ll just have another cuppa coffee,and give it a think!

Harder To Wake Up

It occurred to me this morning that it is getting harder and harder to wake up. Yesterday I skipped my exercises and slept an extra 45 minutes. Last night, went to sleep around 9:30, slept good, but still had to wrench myself out of bed with a crowbar. No problems once I’m up, it’s just the act of getting up that seems harder.
Why? Tell me why!

Two Days Till Thursday

Well, Monday is gone. now it’s Tuesday. payday is day after tomorrow.

Last night we went to dinner at Macabuca. It was pretty good food and there was a nice sunset.

Yesterday in town it rained hard almost all day. West Bay didn’t get drop. I couldn’t go on my beach lunch yesterday because of the rain and I was on the scooter. Now it’s nice and clear but I wonder it’s going to rain again today. 30 percent chance haha!

We’ve had a new coffee maker now for about a week. I suppose it makes acceptable coffee. It is one of those Keurig kinds with the canister.

My studying has been going extremely slow. I’m afraid I’m going to have to get up even earlier in order to study and accomplish anything.

It was a very nice weekend. Saturday was a little cloudy, but Sunday was gorgeous. Now I’m here, drinking coffee, ready for work.

Last  night I had a dream that if you have vertical stripes on your shirt, your pants should have horizontal stripes and vice versa. It is a faux pas to wear aligned stripes on your pants and shirts.

I also had a dream of being improperly dressed at work. I was wearing a brand new pair of blue jeans, walking down the hall, hoping nobody would say anything.

Oh One August One Three!

Can you believe it? August already.

I don’t have much to say today. Fed the chickens and cats, walked the dogs and fed them. We got a new coffee pot and today’s the second day it’s been used. Still tastes like crap.

Glad tomorrow’s Friday. I was asking my New Zealand friend yesterday if it was Friday yet. Wasn’t then but I’m sure it is now!

I’m having black beans for breakfast. And cheese.

My wife is working Saturday,  Coming up is our last Saturday before Vacation!

Ghastly Horrific

I got up this morning, showered, dressed and was walking the dogs when I realized “I FORGOT TO MAKE THE COFFEE!” O horror of horrors! I made coffee after the dogs and I got back and I’m drinking some now. Whew! That was close! I coulda been killed!While I’m on the topic of coffee, I guess I’ll let you know that I’m pretty settled in on Cafe Bustelo. I did an image search for Cafe Bustelo, and this is what I found. Bikini Girl Bonus! Cafe Bustelo is good coffee and affordable. Plus what I like is that it is consistent. I use one level teaspoon per cup in the coffee maker and I get the same good strongish cuppa coffee every time. I still love the good cup of Costa Rican when I can get it, but Cafe Bustelo is the best all around coffee I have found.
