I almost named this post “It’s Friday”, but it’s not.
Tomorrow an old Navy friend of mine arrives for 10 days. Haven’t seen him in 32 or 33 years.
Night before last was the last Monday Night Football for this season. No more Thursday night games either. They didn’t even tell me goodbye! Philadelphia’s head coach got fired after they lost to my Redskins. I feel sorry for him.
I feel kinda down this morning. No reason.

It was a good weekend, with a rough start. Friday, we were allowed to leave work early, because of the work Christmas party. I wasn’t going to the party, but I sure as heck was going to take off early. As soon as it was time to go. It started raining super hard when I couldn’t leave work. The second it quit raining, I left. The roads were so flooded the Watergaten over the floorboards of my scooter.
Saturday was nice, I went to the beach wife and mom in law didn’t want to go.
Sunday I put up the tent on the roof. We’ll be sleeping there when the father in law arrives tomorrow.
Yesterday was also the Wife’s works Christmas party. Brunch at the Marriott. It was good.
Also yesterday my football team won and everybody else lost. The Washington Redskins first in the division for the first time I remember in a long time.
Short week at work this week!
I stayed up late to watch Washington VS Dallas on Monday Night Football.
I went to bed about 12:30 and got up a 5AM. Redskins always lose if they don’t score first and I should havegone to bed afer the first Dallas field goal.
Also last night, we went and saw the new Hunger Games which was quite good. Recomend it for theater viewing.
I’m tired, Hurtin fer certain.

It was a good weekend. Sunday I took Sheba to the beach. She absolutely loved it.
Sunday afternoon, The Wife went to a Costa Rica bar be cue at a friends house. I stayed home and watched American football. Tje Redskins MUST win tonight. They must, or else there is a three way tie for first in the division. What a mess.

It was a great weekend for American Football! Every team in my division lost, except my Washington Redskins! Plus all my other teams won too! Except Seattle. Great football!
The weekend was cloudy, and a lot of rain. Still raining now. The Wife cleaned the back porch, there was black mold growing on the concrete and she scrubbed it with a brush. I helped by moving stuff and I scrubbed a litle, but she did all the work.
This is my last full week of work before Mexico! I am ready to GO! As soon as we get back, the in-laws come for a visit, then an old Navy friend who I haven’t seen in 30 years.
Just get me through this week at work.

Redskins had a great game Sunday. Although beating Tampa 31-30 may not sound too impressive, Redskins came back from 24-0 to win. That is the greatest deficit The Skins ever recovered from. Also quarterback Kirk Cousins set or tied (not sure which) the Redskins record, 33 completed passes in one game.
Redskins have the weekend off next Sunday, going into their bye week on a high. Hopefully the Skins can be an improved team after this great weekend.
Miami had a great first half, stomping Texas 41-0, and winning 44-26.
And Dallas lost!
I had an ok weekend, hanging out at home while the wife went to a weekend-long bachelorette party at East End.
Now it’s Monday, blah, but after this, the holiday season will be here!

The last world cup was the first I really got into and followed from beginning to end, and I was amazed how blatantly corrupt it was. All the veteran FIFA football fans were saying things like, “They’ll never let this team win” or “The World Cup will never be held in this particular country, they don’t contribute enough money to FIFA”.
Even the newest, most casual observer could instantly tell FIFA was more like a mafia than a sports organization.

What a game. Seattle had it in the bag and threw it away in the last 20 seconds.
It was a quiet weekend. The Wife is trying to not catch the cold that has been going around. We stayed home all weekend, except I went out to get her some cold medicine.
It was a beautiful weekend, weather wise, too.
I don’t have much to say, I’ve been feeling kind of “flat” lately. Not good, not bad, perfectly neutral.
Tomorrow is the final real estate test!

Friday I passed test two of my real estate exam.
Saturday The Wife and I harvested our first bananas, bought a new kitchen faucet. We stayed out late Saturday night.
Sunday we drank a LOT of coffee, and installed aforementioned faucet and three out of the four American football games went my way.
We even had a little much needed rain!
Can’t complain about the weekend.
Work today though, I could complain plenty about that!
I almost typed “Friday” for the title, There’s probably several that have already been given the same name.
But it is Friday! Hooo-Ray!
Today I have to take part 2 of the real estate test. I do not have high confidence on passing. I found the section on contracts most confusing and contradictory at times.
Tomorrow is mini golf with friends followed by food and American football. Hopefully that’ll be it for weekend plans. I just want to veg out.
Here’s a tip. Get some of the cheap hot chocolate mix that comes in the pouches. Make it using coffee instead of hot water. Super good!
