Above is the “sunrise” this cloudy morning. Walking the dogs was very quiet , no breeze, no sounds but chickens..
Yesterday afternoon I moved the wifi router downstairs to improve the signal in the apartment. I had to re-open a hole in the drywall to make the cable run U-turn.
This afternoon (or this weekend) I’ll fix the hole and hang the router on the wall downstairs.
it was a busy,.full weekend. Friday I had a dinner that was very nice. Saturday was quite typical but I bought a new weed whacker to tame the yard enough to mow. It was a real jungle. Yesterday and a beach yoga morning followed by breakfast. Then I finished up the yardwork. Also I found some water damage 8n that apartment that I started to repair. I leak by the sliding glass door caused a couple pieces of rotten baseboard. I patched the leak (hopefully) and need to finish the baseboard. (Had a helluva time cutting the 45⁰ angles for a corner.) I have a tenant moving in tomorrow so I need to get this expedited today!
Last night I went out to a nice dinner.
And my American Football team lost. In overtime. Away.
It was a really good weekend. I got the front yard mowed in between downpours, I fixed a silly mistake I made on one of the anti chicken lids on the planters. I re-did the tripod that is helping the Otaheite apple tree stand up straight (I think it’s slowly falling over since it fell in Hurricane Grace and I stood it back up). I cleaned the floors in the whole house. I dissected a cherry tomato and planted the seeds. (We’ll see how many come up.) And I went to a “Sashing” for the Cayman Islands Miss Universe contestants. It was super fun!
Lisa is sponsored by One Heart, and she works there. I was invited to attend by the owner. I was so happy to be there!
Sunday morning I slept 90 minutes later than usual, which is huge for me. I barely stayed up past my normal bedtime. I got up at 6:30! Can you believe it!?
And now it’s a back to work Monday. Weather’s supposed to improve. I can mow the back yard this week!
Last night coming home from work, the crooked pothole road around the corner was all graded and looks like time for a re-pave instead of a patch job. Yeay! That will be nice. The equipment is parked in a vacant lot nearby.
an asphalt comb
Had a god lunchtime snorkel yesterday . Not much in the way of pictures tho. Same Flamingo Tongues, but a nice puffer!
Yesterday was my first of two classes about “How To Stand On Your Head” I did it! First time ever! I had a wall behind me, but hopefully next week I can get rid of the wall. I practiced this morning too.
i didn’t really think it thru, the instructor finally got me up and said “congratulations on your first headstand.” I said, in Beavis and Butt-Head style Hehe everything is upside down” Everyone laughed and I really enjoyed the class.
Overall, it was a good weekend. Mowed the yard. Glued the pot the cat knocked over. It needs more work, and it’s never going to be the same. But maybe it will be good for something.(artificial plants?)
The Bad Side
And the jungel-ish yard got mowed by me..
We have Sahara dust wrecking the weather and the sky is a grey-white of lugubriousness.

But its going to be a great week! I’m sure yours will be great too!
I had a good weekend! Saturday I went out for breakfast and lunch. Did some yard work and gardening. The internet cable job is done. Finally.
Sunday I went diving and a remora tried to attach itself to me. Quite, no, extremely annoying. He finally attached to my fin and I left him there. Better my fin than my leg.
Here is a link to a short video of the remora on my fin. And below are some pictures.
Above is a picture of the beach in downtown George Town. I stopped by to look for some sea glass.
Last night I went to a presentation on Blackwater Diving. That’s diving in the open ocean at night. By open ocean, it was presented by Don Fosters I mean not on a reef, off a boat in a bottomless sea. I didn’t take pictures of their pictures, but I did see Jessika’s scuba instructor and took a selfie to send her.
Me and Nick at Don Fosters.
And, if I was still married, today would be my 13th wedding anniversary. She’s been gone almost a year.
And now itsa backa to-a work-a. That’s supposed to sound Italian.
