It’s FRIDAY!
TGIF even if it’s supposed to rain all weekend! I am soo glad this week is almost over!
Right now, I’m sitting outside in a strengthening north wind, getting ready to go to work. It was supposed to rain last night, but didn’t, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s going to.
The weatherman thinks so too, apparently.
So I have to go now, and put the things inside that need to be put inside.

It’s been frustrating around here lately. The internet has, for all intents and purposes, been down for days. It was up briefly last night, at about three quarter speed, but mostly it”s been what I call down. Even an email message takes an eternity to load.
I’m paying for 10 Meg per second download speed, and lately it’s been about 300 or 700K. Every six months, I have to call the company, and it’s a nuisance.
The weatherman has been calling for rain every day for the past few weeks or so, but we haven’t been getting much rain. Now the weatherman is saying sunny today, and rain tommorrow, so I’m riding the scooter today. It will be the first time since week before last.
Sheba went to the vet yesterday, she won”t put her right rear foot down. The doctor found liquid on her hip, an infection, apparently. Sheba has to take a whole pile of pills three times a day, and you can tell she doesn’t feel good.

It’s Tuesday, first day of the workweek as yesterday was Hero’s Day here in the Cayman Islands.
I’m sitting here writing this on my phone, as it’s too dark to see the keyboard on my tablet. Although the moon is quite bright, it isn’t sufficent for typing.
The breeze this morning is nice and warm, much better than the cold wind we’ve had for the past few weeks. Thank goodness!

Cold and windy here this morning. A cold front came and stalled right over us. It’s cloudy and windy and cold (for here) and the seas are rough.

Today is going to be a great day, even by Cayman standards! Wish I didn’t have to work, but still, there’ll be a beach lunch!
I got up at the usual time, but I’ve been waiting till it got light enough to see to type. So far, I can’t tell that the days are getting longer. Soon though.
I got a new keyboard/case for my tablet. I really like it!
It’s a whole new tablet now! I had my friend from the Navy bring it down when he came. He’s still here, and has been enjoying the beach while I’ve been working.
Well, I have to get readdy to go to work, so HAVE A GREAT DAY!
Last night we saw the new Star Wars Movie. It was good the first half, but after Hans Solo’s son got killed, I fell asleep. I kept waking up, and Chewy and Rey are standing on top of a flat mountain talkinng. I dozed off and woke up again and they were still there, talking. I never did see Luke Skywalker.
I’ll watch it again on TV, but to me, the move fell far shot of all the hype it received. TO me it was just as good, and very similar to, all the other Star Wars movies.
Here it is cloudy, supposed to rain, I took the car yesterday, but it was sunny and didn’t rain at all. Nice, red sunrise this morning though.
It’s hump day on the first week of the year, I’m ready for the weekend.

It’s the first Tuesday of the year. I’m Having trouble typing in the dark. It’s cold and windy and it’s supposed to rain, but the stars are out. I can hear the rough sea to the north.
I have a headache and I don’t feel very well.
I’m taking the car today.
I haven’t been doing my exercises in the morning because we’ve had company since the beginning of December.
I’ll be glad to get back home after this day is done.

It’s Tuesday on a short week.
Today my father in law arrives. My wife and i are going to give them the “good bed” and sleep on an air mattress.
It was very hard to wake up this morning. I think I was chasing a frog in a dream.
I’m drinking coffee and it’s very good.
Yesterday I took the car, because it was supposed to rain. It was sunny all day. Today it’s scooter, no matter what! I feel so “mortal” in the car, stuck in traffic with the common folk. On the scooter, I go around and through like a ghost.
Hope I don’t get wet!

I’ve been thinking quite some time about what to post and I am drawing a blank.
Last night the wife and I watched the movie Back To The Future II. It’s stupid, but I feel a little bit sad that date in the movie has passed. It was a good movie the first time I saw it and it is still good now. Now that the date has passed, it feels like the movie is really over after all these years, and won’t be as good as it once was. Of course, there is no reason for that to be so.
Glad it’s Thursday and look forward to the weekend. It is still quite rainy, but there is more and more Sun. Been driving the car for 2 weeks now, ready to get back on the motorcycle .
