It’s the next to last day of school. 36 hours from now, I’ll be at the airport, waiting to go home.

It’s Thursday, but that means that it’s Friday on the other side of the international date line! And Friday is speeding aroundthe globe, headed our way!
It’s supposed to rain this weekend, and while I’m normally not a rain fan, we really need it. Yesterday the weather was showing some major rain between Miami and Havana. Now it’s not looking like so much rain will be coming 🙁
I got a new backpack, very similar to my old backpack and I’m happy with it.
And now it’s time for me to make lunch, and get ready to head off to work. And get cuppa coffee #2!

Watched a great movie yesterday, Flypaper. Two sets of bad guys try to rob the same bank at the same time. This is a comedy that IMDB says is an “under the radar” good movie. This is definite watch-more-than-once really really good movie. I highly recommend watching it.
It was a good weekend. I planted two more papaya trees, I saw that we have some more bananas on the way!
Mostly stayed at home and hung out. We had some much needed rain as well.

It is cold this morning, the cold front that went thru the Florida Keys is crossing here now. Hear me whine!
Yesterday was a holiday here, ash Wednesday. It was good having the day off but my head thinks it’s Monday instead of Thursday. My head will be in for a nice surprise tomorrow!

Spring is definitely coming. Around these parts, I can tell the days are definitely getting longer and that the afternoons are brighter. That’s a good thing for me
There’s a pretty strong wind coming from the north, yesterday was rough at my beach lunch and the cruise ships stopped on the south side of the island instead of the west. Probably will be the same today.
I am supposed to get the new (used) Kindle today. Hopefully.

Today is my last working day before vacation.
I feel like I’m making a bigger deal of it than it really is, I mean, it’s only 5 days, and I’m going north, into the cold cold cold.
I’m excited about going, I just think I’m building it up as too much in my mind.

This morning, before the alarm went off, I was dreaming it was Saturday. 5AM is awful early, and it seems to be getting earlier.
I am studying for test 3 for the real estate license. It is very difficult. They give you sample questions, and I cannot find the answers in the text.
It was supposed to be rainy today, but I don’t think it’s going to be. Scooter to work and beach for lunch!
I feel like I need to start putting more effort into this blog. I never know what I’m going to post before I post it.
At the end of this month, I’m going to see my Mom in Maryland, USA. Just outside Washington DC. It will be cold. I’m compiling a list of things to buy and people to see. I’ll be there from a Thursday to a Tuesday.
I don’t have much excitement about going to work today.

It was a good weekend, and way too short.
On a cold and dreary Saturday, we went to a little girls 5th birthday party. It was an incredible amount of fun, and I am sure the water was warmer than the air.
Every single picture I took is incredible, seems to me. Little kids are perfect beings. I had the warm fuzzies all day.
Sunday I studied for my real estate test, which apparently I was supposed to take last week. I was planning on going to the USA last week and told the lady, but I guess there was some mis-communication. I think I have lost my interest in real estate.,,
Also we went out and watched every team I like lose at American Football. Except Cincinnati and Seattle, they won. Redskins played good but lost anyway.
And now we are at a Monday morning. We’ll see what happens!
We have a hostage situation in Australia, some Muslim kid took hostages at a cafe and that’s been going on for about 12 hours. Flying a home made ISIS flag, asking for a real one. Idiot.

It is so cold here I couldn’t even do my exercises this morning. Instead I took Sheba out running. It was less windy down on ground level.
She’s so fat that she was wanting to stop before we had gone even 2/10ths of a mile.
The temperature has plummeted way down probably to about 70 degrees F. Not counting wind chill, there’s a strong wind blowing from the north.
Brrrrrrr!

My scooter needs new tires. 14000 kilometers on the bike. Seems like not a lot. How long should tires last?
I didn’t post yesterday, I couldn’t think of a topic, and I couldn’t post ANOTHER post about no topic, so I took a small hiatus.
For me, the peak of the Humpday Hump is now, as Friday is a half day!! Yip Peeeeee!
