More than a year ago, my mother sent me an article from the newspaper about Chrome and it was time to get rid of it. Now, it’s come up again, in an article I just read. So, I installed Firefox.
II haven’t uninstalled Chrome yet, but I will if Firefox seems OK.
I am glad it’s Friday. It’s been a rainy week and it looks like more of the same for the weekend, but I’m looking forward to it.

It was a very good weekend, overall. Went out to dinner Friday with a dozen or so friends. It was really wonderful.
Saturday, mowed the yard. And cleaned. A lot. Found some ancient, 2017 pasta in the pantry. And lots of rice Not expired. I’ll be eating rice forever.
The wife took the dogs overnight Friday night. When she brought them back Saturday morning. I was not really very nice. I don’t like her being uncomfortable and she looked uncomfortable and small Saturday morning. No matter how she treats me or what she does, I never want to be mean to her. I felt bad after she left and later, I apologized on a voicemail. Later still, I invited her out to a “nice” lunch on Sunday. She accepted and we had a good lunch and it was very nice, like old times. I made her laugh. It was odd saying good-bye in the parking lot, I’m used to us to getting in the car and going home like normal. I almost forgot to say good-bye, I took a step towards the car and she didn’t, and I remembered, “Oh yeah”. and it all came flooding back and I felt like bursting out into tears.
I’d rather be angry, sorta, sorta not. Being angry seems more powerful and in-control feeling.
Sunday morning earlier, I went diving. it was a good dive. But it was sunny and clear when we went under and almost completely overcast when we got out. Then it rained, definitely because I mowed the yard.

I was an alright weekend. It was cloudy and windy a lot, but not when it counted. I participated in a 800 meter sea swim 🏊♂️ on Saturday and it was sunny. Sunday, because of the wind, a rather large branch fell off one of my trees and I chainsawed it to pieces and threw it in the bush.
And I did a lot of cleaning and ate too much.
And now it’s back to work!

Friday! Finally! It’s shaping up to be a nice weekend. Diving Sunday, Early beach morning Saturday.
Yesterday I had a first aid class for work, When I was an active scuba instructor, I was an active first aid instructor for teaching rescue diver. And I was first aid trained as a lifeguard too. A lot has changed in the first aid world over the years.

Easter weekend in Cayman, many people go camping on the beach. This morning is high winds from the north, and steady rain.
Glad I’m not out there camping. Last year, we weren’t allowed, because of covid. So I guess a lot are this year.
I suppose it will get nice again by the end of the day.

It was a really nice weekend. Saturday we went to buy some flower pots and then out for lunch at a nice Mexican restaurant. In the late afternoon/evening, we went to a Food Fest featuring street food. It was good. I didn’t take enough pictures there though.
Sunday was a nice and quiet day. I loaded up and went to go diving, but the water was too rough and we didn’t go. It was borderline. So I spent the day at home, reading my most recent book, Ready Player Two, sequel to Ready Player One, which I enjoyed very much. Ready Player Two doesn’t have very good reviews, but so far, it seems pretty good to me. I just started it though.
And now it’s Monday again, too quickly. Have a good week!
Itsanutter Mundee. Saturday I replaced my $2000 sliding glass door shutters with $60 vertical blinds. It’s much much better. The wood shutters inhibited the use of the sliding glass door, and were generally non-functional. And, in other news, we have two quarantiners lined up to spend their quarrantine in our superior accomodations.
Sunday I went diving with a group of 8. It was a very nice dive. Turtle, Stingray, Nurse Shark and what I call Longfish. Usually all the sea life runs away from me, yesterday, it seemed to pose for the camera. All the videos below are very short.

The turtle was quite big in this video. Swam right by me.
The video above and below should have been edited into one video, but I haven’t done it (yet). It was a little baby nurse shark, two or three feet long. The girl in the video works in the shark department in the DOE and asked me to send her the videos, which I did, another reason they aren’t edited.
Below is a Four Eye fish. Again, these usually run like hell when I arrive with the camera, yesterday was a rare day.
And after the dive it got cloudy, and the weather has been getting worse. Right now it’s blowing hard and sputtering rain. I don’t know what’s going on.

It’s Friday and it’s supposed to be a nice day.
My back is feeling better. Yesterday I went snorkeling at lunch and it helped. I made an effort not sleep on my back last night too. Laying on my stomach feels so much better. I called a doctor yesterday, but got an answering machine so I took it as a sign and didn’t leave a message.
I’m ready for a good weekend. Beach birthday party tomorrow. Sunday I hope is quiet and uneventful.

Yesterday we harvested banana batch #2. Our first batch was very good. We had another batch start, but the bananaweight broke the stalk, and, well, this could have been batch number three.
It was a good weekend, seems long, which is good. Good weather lately. I’m not really ready for the workweek though.
I also hung up a shelf that holds pots and pans for the wife this weekend. She likes it, and that makes me happy. The Wife was all busy this weekend, cooking and cleaning and buzzing around while I just kind of lazed around and took naps.
