Friday Finally.
Today at work my co workers.and I are going to a Career Day . We’ll be manning an airport booth with probably about another thousand employees from my company.
I’m kinda almost caught up at work, so it should be a good break from the routine.

It’s back to work for me today. It was a good couple of weeks off with visitors. There were a few workdays in between. Now I’ll have a lot catching up to do at work
Daisy was at the vet for a follow up from last week. She has a damaged ligament. The doc didn’t know if it was genetic or from an injury. (She seemed to lean toward genetic). Daisy is on pain pills and bed rest for another week. The doc specified “in her kennel except for bathroom walks.” I feel sorry for her, staying in there all day. Even though she’s been kenneled most of her life, it seems sad now that she’s forced to be.

Saturday was an 800 Meter Sea Swim. I did’t swim well, I went way off course, but it was still good. Saturday evening, I went to the movies and sau A Man Called Otto. Loved it. Complimented the book.
Sunday saw me go to an early morning yoga class, which left me feeling great, followec by coffee on the beach at the Westin and then a scuba dive.
I planned on house cleaning and yaard work after that but took a nap and did very little cleaning. I went to bed early and don’t think I woke up once all night, except 4 minutes before the alarm, and I went right back to sleep.
And now it’s back to work, and I’m actually looking forward to it.
Well, its back to work this morning. I’m looking forward to getting back to the routine
Yesterday was my 32nd birthday. I entered the program when I was 30, 32 years ago.
Surprising this morning, rain. It was wet when I went out for my morning exercise, but cloudlessly clear when I walked the dogs. Just now a 30 second, heavy rain shower passed by. Surprising. It’s good!

i feel much better today. I guess I needed the extra rest. I’m back at work today. It doesn’t feel like Friday, but I’m glad it is.
I have no plans for the weekend, probably take it easy. My cold isn’t gone, but getting better.
My very first thought upon awakening this morning was “I feel fine” And I did, perfect. Now the stuffiness is back a little and the cough. But I will be alright.

Yesterday at work we had mandatory staff meetings, so no Cinco De Mayo lunch for our department. But today we’re going to make up for it by going out to lunch as a Department. All four of us.
Should be good!
And it’s Friday, I have tons of work in the yard and inside the house to do. Mow and clean mostly.

Half our planets are lined up in a neat row this morning and every recent morning. I find it amazing because it lets me visualize the solar system. My life and all its problems aren’t important, being able to accurately visualizing the orbital plane of our solar system is what really matters in ones life!
It seems very hot this morning. I can’t tell if it’s really hot or it’s because I’m wearing a non-cotton shirt work gave me. I’m a cotton only kind of guy.
Taking a few days off, visitors down from the USA. Halfa day off today. Life is good!

I meant to post at 200, but now it’s 210 days in a row I have been studying with Duolingo. I almost lost my streak once but found a way to earn Stars. (Once you run out of stars, they try to make you pay.) But by “practicing” lessons, you can earn Stars. Then you can complete a task in order to continue the streak.
My mother and sister fly out tomorrow. At first it seemed like 2 weeks was too long, but now it seems like 2 weeks is too short.
it’s another Monday, ugh. I slept ok, feel pretty good. I got a negative covid self-test this morning.(twice a week for work) and the weather is looking good for the next couple of days.

Yesterday I got a message from one of my Sunday dive buddies that they tested positive for covid. Of course, being in the proximity, I was possibly exposed. As were we all. I took a covid test this morning, it was negative so I’m going to work like normal.
i didn’t think I’d ever use the home covid tests work gave me. But glad I had it.
