Lets talk about “Trial Memberships”. First week free! And to a lesser extent “the family plan”.

In a nutshell… No. Just tell me how much it costs, and if I want it I’ll buy it.
the way I look at it, the companies want you to just put your credit card number in there for a free trial, then when the free trials over they charge you whatever they want. Then you practically have to go to court to get out of the free deal.
I’m tainted by the Columbia record company back in the 1960s or early 70sI guess.

I signed up for this, all I had to do was buy a few albums at the regular price within the next 3 years. The scam was, they don’t offer any records at regular price. Everything is on sale, and nothing counts toward you fulfilling your obligation. As a young young boy, I was very upset by this. And my mother, somehow, got me out of the deal.
even products (apps too) that I’m interested in, don’t tell you the price if you want to subscribe or purchase. They want you to do the one week free trial, with no price mentioned.
I don’t play that game. Seems like nowadays, most people have their credit card plugged into the computer, and they just buy things indiscriminately. That doesn’t make any sense to me.
I would be unable to rip off the masses in this method. Even when I was running my own business, it hindered my profits because I was “too fair”.
Anyway, that’s my rant for today, I’m glad I found out that you’re not a robot, you can be glad you found that you are not a robot to!
