So far, tropical storm hurricane Ian has been uneventful. I walked the dogs this morning and it wasn’t raining. I saw some stars walking them last night.

It looks like we’re going to have a hurricane pass by on Monday. This weekend is all up in the air over it.

Payday Thursday
Today is payday. Today is Thursday. Today is payday Thursday. I need to go shopping, mostly for dog food and cat food. Coincidentally my two dogs and my five cats both consume one bag of dog food every 10 days. Therefore, on paydays, I usually buy three bags of dog food and three bags of cat food. Today however because of the weather there are many panic buyers in the stores and it is very crowded. So I’m dreading stopping by the store on the way home from work today.
We’re probably going to get some weather at the beginning of next week.
in other news, yesterday I was selected for a jury. My case starts Monday. I’ve been picked each and every time. Even though I was able to get out of it a couple of times.

Happy hump day. Today I again report for jury duty. Again with the dread. Only two weeks and my time in the jury pool is over.

Klara And The Sun
SPOILER ALERT! Reading further might reduce the pleasure gained, if you plan on reading this book.
I’m reading a book called Klara And The Sun. I like it quite a lot. It’s about an AF, artificial friend, a robot, who gets energy from the sun.
i find it very enjoyable. Klara is purchased for a young girl who has some kind of sickness. I am about 60% through the book.
At the beginning of the book, Klara was in the store, and I didn’t know what she was, what AF stood for or anything. It has been a pleasant read from the beginning, figuring out what is going on has been, for me, one of the main pleasures. Hence the spoiler alert. Worth a read.
You know I take yoga, right? I realized I feel shame about yoga. I was avoiding saying I was went. To me, it’s not viewed as a very tough, manly thing to do. It was recommended that I take yoga by my counselor as strongly as a counselor can recommend, which really isn’t very forceful, but I was willing to do anything to feel better and I have to admit yoga makes me feel better and is excellent excellent exercise. (Depending on the class).

Queens Funeral Day
Today is the holiday for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. I watched lot of it, till they put the casket in the hearse.
it was a good, busy weekend. Saturday was the first session of four session Home Gardening Course. It was good and informative.

In the afternoon I went out on a boat trip to Stingray City.. My stingray pictures are still on the camera, but here’s the sunset
Had a big beef sausage and egg breakfast this morning and not i’ll probably putz around the yard today.

17 years ago I met the ex. She always got mad at me for not remembering out wedding anniversary, but this is the anniversary I never forget.

Tropical Storm Fiona is born. She’s probably going to curve north of Cayman.
There was good, steady rain last night and this morning.
King Charles already disgusted me, he said everybody has to delay the funerals on September 19th until after the Queen’s funeral so we could all mourn the Queen properly. I have a friend from here who was getting buried there on the 19th.
And Friday is almost here again. Yeay! This weekend my Home Gardening course starts.

New World Record
This morning I picked my biggest pepper ever off my mutant plant. This is the plant seeded from the bell pepper seeds but the peppers are all shaped like the picture. They taste like bell peppers though. The other plant makes bell pepper shaped bell peppers.
Went to have a dental cleaning yesterday. She had her forearm on my chest and my head was touching her side. It occurred to me that “this is the first time I’ve felt anybody else’s body heat in probably two years. I think that’s why greeting hugs from friends don’t count as human contact.
Anyway, it was interesting.
Yesterday, it was raining and I took a lunchtime nap in my van. I think I slept really deep and hard. Tess good.
Last night I dreamed I was on the beach and the ex wife came walking by. She was wearing a modest black one piece Nike swimsuit and had a dog on a leash in her right hand and a yellow kitten in the crook of her left arm. I didn’t see the dog I was alone on the beach but scrambled to get away from the person sitting next to me as I stood up so she wouldn’t think we were together. The ex wife was smiling and looked happy and healthy. It was a pleasant dream and good to see her.
Today is a Wednesday, the weather is looking good. (West Bay (center of the universe) DID end up getting some good rain yesterday after all, if you read yesterdays post.) I expect today will be a snorkeling lunch hour.
