Quiet, uneventful weekend. Saturday, the wife had to work, and I went shopping for a new clothes dryer. (Ours died)
Then I went to the beach.
Sunday, was a hang at home day. Did nothin.
One of the few times I’m glad to have nothing to post about.

I like mornings, sitting on the back porch, watching the birds in the birdbath, feeling the breeze and loving the perfect climate. It’s the little things in life…
I could complain about our Internet, which has been off and on for weeks maybe months. But I won’t. I could complain about my job, but I’m lucky to have a job. (And well qualified, it’s not all luck, but many qualified people don’t have jobs, so I’m lucky)
Last night, the Wife and I went to bed, exhausted. Then we laid awake for at least an hour, talking. It was great.
Tomorrow is FRIDAY! That’s another good thing!
There was a boy, dropped off by the side of the road as punishment for throwing stones missing almost a week before being found today or yesterday.
When I was a kid, I did my best to not modify my behavior when punished, to illustrate that punishment was inffective.
Good job kid, I’d say you kicked ass!
In other news, we got a new fridge yesterday. Two and a half thousand dollars… My phone died, I called the manufacturer because of a one year warranty, and they say the IMEI number isn’t valid. Sounds like a loada hooie to me. Meanwhile, I’m getting my ancient Galaxy S III fired up again.
And it’s Friday. Rainy all weekend, don’t care.

Last Friday our fridge quit working. Got it fixed Saturday. Tuesday night, it died again. Repairman said it’s dead this time.
Yesterday my new-ish phone the LG G4 died. I was looking at Google news, when the phone crashed and got stuck on the reboot screen. I moved back to my old Samsung S III.
I’m on the back porch, contemplating taking a sick day so I can get a new refrigerator.
Also, the internet has been off and on for days. I planned on posting from work yesterday, but the internet was down till lunch.
What a week!
It was my first day back at work after vacation. Seems like a lot longer than that.
Tomorrow is a big exercise at work. I’ve been getting our department ready. I have a lot to do today as well.
Tomorrow, my friends from the USA leave. Wish I was spending more time with them.
Ba humbug, that’s how I feel this morning.
I a very few minutes we leave for the airport. To Italy.
I hate leaving Cayman, although I look forward to Italy.
I feel like there is no better place on earth than right here right now. But going to Italy is better than having to go to work!!
I’m ready to go!
Feels like Monday to me, because I was off yesterday. Had a good time with my cousins. Hadn’t seen them in two years.
Went out running this morning wirh my new shoes. The soles didn’t fall off.
The weatherman calls for rain today, but I’m taking the scooter, ’cause I don’t believe him.

It’s Day before Friday. I’m feeling pretty relaxed this morning.
Yesterday evening I made stuffed peppers. They were pretty good, if I say so myself. The wife had an exercise class after work, so I made dinner. Very pretty presentation, Two red, two orange. I shoulda took a picture. And I opened a can of spinach.
Hopefully winter is over, weather has been good the past weeker two.

My wife got me a Fitbit Charge, she’s had one a while and likes it. I expressed an interest and she surprised me!
It seems pretty cool. It’s fun entering all the info from the food you eat, keeping track of everything. I especially like the bar code scanner.
It measures your activity during the day, and how you sleep at night.
I wear it in the shower, but not in the sea, not sure how waterproof it is.. I’ll find out, but I’m pretty sure you can’t take it diving.
Superbowl was yesterday. Both teams sucked. Denver had no third down conversions but won it. Carolina didn’t play well at all either.
It’s Monday, I’m tired and crabby. It’s cold and wwindy outside…Good day for working, if there ever was

You’ve heard me complain about money many times. I don’t think money is in the cards for me.
I pay homeowners insurance 10 months out of the year, these are the two “off” months. Instead of having a little extra money, I get extra bills. New tires for the car and scooter. Dentist. I have accepted the fact that I will always be broke. God doesn’t want me to have money.
At least it’s Friday! And I live where I want to live!
