Yesterday was a holiday here, Heroes Day.
I (hopefully) fix the leak mentioned in the previous post.
I took the dogs to the beach where we.saw a fallen tree that may survive. Hopefully.
Also had coffee at Cafe del Sol where, across the way, on the roof of Cimboco, is a purple door which I find most intriguing.
And now it’s M̶o̶n̶d̶a̶y̶ Tuesday and the start of another work week!

Since New Years day was on a weekend, today is the holiday (I hope). It’s good to start the first working day of the year with a holiday day off.
At least I hope it’s a day off, hope I’m not playing hookie on a workday!
i’ve been we working my way through a bag of Café Oro. Coffee from Honduras.
It has good flavor, but it is very dark and oily. Good flavor, but it looks very very strong when you pour it. I don’t regret buying it at all, but I worry about staining my teeth worse than they are already stained.

Twas a good weekend, productive and fun. Friday I got off work early, went to the beach then went home and I mowed the yard, I only got the front done because the grass was so deep and wet. (When I say grass I really mean weeds!) Then our dinner club went out to dinner Friday night and it was quite nice. Saturday I went diving and then had coffee with friends at Waffle Monkey. Good coffee! Then I came home and mowed the backyard, it was much easier and drier. Saturday afternoon my quarantiner moved out, free of covid. I have somebody else possibly going into quarantine here on the 13th of this month, which will be nice.
Sunday was another diving day, followed by a washing two dogs who needed it bad and seem to feel much better
And now it’s a back to work Monday and I actually don’t feel so bad about it.

It’s that time-a year again..
Looks like we’re gonna get a rainy weekend. 🌧 Maybe it’ll be all right Friday day and Saturday morning. I sure would like to go diving and test out my new underwater camera.
Actually it might not be so bad overall, The newer data is starting to show the center moving more north than the pictures above.
We already got the rain we needed, now I have to worry about it quitting raining so I can mow the yard!
Damn good coffee this morning. Every day, I use precise measurements and get pretty consistent results but sometimes it’s just damn good, better than normal, coffee. Today’s is exceptionally good.

My morning coffee is pretty precisely made. Measured amount of water, two scoops of ground coffee from the same scoop everyday. Yet sometimes (yesterday) it tastes like doo-doo and sometimes (today) it’s good.
I guess the only difference is me. But why?
I prefer the days the coffee tastes good over the days it tastes like doo-doo.

I got an ok on my checkup. They changed my blood pressure medication. It wasn’t really an “Executive” checkup, just a regular one, like a ditchdigger checkup. Same as I get (almost) every year. I was disappointed. The facility is nice though. And this morning, I’m drinking COFFEE!

This morning I went walking the loop with ankle weights on 10 LBs each. I didn’t run at all. The only thing is, it doesn’t get the heart rate up.
Also I changed my routine slightly. Normally I get up, shave, exercise, make coffee, shower, dress and drink coffee. This morning I got up, exercised, shave, shower, made coffee, dressed then drink coffee. And post. Seemed to work better.
Coffee is goooood this morning!

Cloudy, windy and cold. No running / walking for me this morning. I hit the snooze button and I could have stayed in bed longer.

It’s supposed to be clearing up today, and we have a short week, Friday is a holiday!
I feel very groggy this morning. headache. I can tell I’m going to need a lot of coffee!

This week has been training week at work. There was the annual safety training, and my drivers license renewal to drive where the planes are. I’m all done now, so today it’s back to work.
I’m feeling a little brain dead this morning, I slept OK, but there was the problem of being super hot under the covers, and super cold out of them. This is a much coffee day. I’m on my second cup, at work, I plan on having at least two more.
I usualy listen to the news i the morning, this morning I listened to some music, it was nice. Maybe I’ll try that more often.
