Good Weekend

Good weekend! Good Valentines Day. I gave the OI Girl a seahorse pendant and necklace, she gave me a box of chocolate cigars.
We went to the beach and diving I took the above pics. Saturday was cloudless, sunny and HOT!
I did get called into work Saturday morning for a couple hours, almost missing my dive. But all turned out well!

Friday the 13th

My lucky day, but I got called into work early because of a computer problem, and I’m having other technical diffidulties at work
The diarrhea Dawgs are going to the vet tomorrow.

Check this out! A shocking picture! Look at the Cruise ship doing a wheelie! The UFO! and the little monster at the bottom! ANd read the caption on the photo-it hasn’t even happened yet!

we have herd a little in the news lately about pirates taking over ships and making the ships crew walk the plank, but the real ships in distress are the ones such as in the above photo which was taken on March 14, 2009 by a boy fishing from a raft in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Back to hot weather

Yesterday I went to the beach for lunch. Looks like the cold weather is gone, at least for a while.
Here’s some pics from lunchtime yesterday.
AND, yesterday after work we went and looked at wedding rings.

Shitty Afternoon

Yesterday when I got home, I found that Sheba had had a major accident in her kennel. A Double Dose of Dangerous Deadly Doggie Diarrhea. Out of sympathy, or perhaps enticed by the heady aroma, Ditto crapped on the back porch as well. . . FOUR TIMES.
Poor Sheba was covered in it, her face, back, tail. She had even gotten crap on the ceiling of her kennel!
I slid the whole thing out on the back porch, donned rubber gloves and swim trunks, got out the garden hose and dog shampoo, and let her out of the kennel. I gave her a half-a-bottle shampooing and took her outside, where Ditto already was. Then I disassembled the kennel, hosed it and scrubbed it. Then I hosed and scrubbed the whole back porch.

When the OI Girl got home, it was pretty much cleaned up, but Sheba was still stinkin’ so we gave her another bath, this time with half a bottle of ‘No More Tears’ baby shampoo.

I think she still stinks.

Poor Sheba was so humiliated.

I should have taken pictures.

1111

Had a pretty good weekend. It was windy but on Sunday the houe was blocking the wind and it was pretty sunny so I got to defrost a bit.

This is my 1111th post. Cool, huh? It’s cool because all the numbers are ones! I am very easily amused.
To celebrate, I’m posting more pictures:

Here’s a metal frog on our back porch

We had BLT’s for lunch Saturday

Another bug
This is a pic of a plane flying over that I enhanced.

(Click to enlarge, especially the bug and the jet. . .And the BLT, and the frog)

13 years and a day

I didn’t realize till late last night that yesterday was my 13th anniversary on the island. Now I can say I’ve been here 13 years and not 12.

It is bloody freezing here today and last night! Wind chill down in the 50’s I’ve heard!

Brown teeth

This morning I went to the dentists for a cleaning.
I was contemplating having coffee after that, but I made a pot and now I’m drinking it.
I’ll try to keep em clean this time. I’ve been flossing like hell, but I get stains.

Blog maintenance

I rearranged my sidebar, and resized a few items to make it appear as a sidebar on Internet Explorer, and not a bottom-bar.

Also I added a link for 365 internet radio.

And if somebody’d write in my Shoutmix chatbox, I’d be eternally grateful!
