Goldie the cat who is probably 18 years old, as bad teeth and has trouble eating. I’ve been trying different food. He did not like human baby food, turkey flavor. But he does seem to like turkey breast liquefied with a blender. With just a shot of chicken broth.

With regular cat food, canned or dry, chewing would cause him a lot of pain. He will get food stuck between his teeth, and run away from his bowl and make pained sounds and use his paws to try to get the food out from being stuck in between his teeth. Now, he seems to be trained to run away from food. I’m very happy that he ate some last night and this morning.

I slept a lot better than I did last night too.

It’s Thursday! As I get older, I believe more and more that Thursday was invented as an unnecessary stumbling block that gets between us and the weekend. We should just jump from Wednesday to Friday.

last night I dreamed I was riding my motorcycle down on a mountain. There was some kind of problem as all the cars were stopped and everybody was walking.. When I had to stop because of the non-moving traffic and this woman asked me if she could ride on the back of my motorcycle. I said okay and then we’re headed down the mountain again. My brakes wouldn’t work. I super-squeezed them and was able to stop, and she got off.

I went down the mountain to this shopping mall, looking for the bike rack to lock up my motorcycle. I went in one door of the mall. And talked to the guard. He sent me around to the next Mall entrance.

As I circled them all from entrance to entrance, entrance I would wake up in between and be worried about parking the motorcycle. Then I would go back to sleep, and look for the bike rack so that I could lock it up.

it was an insane dream, a never ending loop of torture, I had bad sleep. Feeling exhausted this morning.

Bah Humbug

On June 10, Dr Bob was shaky from a hangover and had to go to work to do an operation. Bill W gave him a beer to stop the shakes so Dr Bob could perform.

After the operation , Dr Bob disappeared. Bill W and Lois thought he was out on a drinking spree, but Dr Bob came home a few hours later, sober. He had been out making amends to those that he had harmed. (He had been reluctant previously, worried about his reputation) Dr Bob never drank again. The beer Bill W gave him was his last drink, and the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous was born that day, June 10, 1935.

Happy 90th Birthday AA! I plan on being here for your 100th! One Day At A Time!

Mu poinciana tree, rich, when I planted it with two finger sized sticks. Is in full bloom. The canopy is so tall I can’t even trim it anymore. This may become a problem this hurricane season.

But in the meantime, it’s very orange and very beautiful.

A little more deep and I might have scored 100!

I was awake last night, thinking “I’m not sleeping well, this is jumbled. I don’t think anyone ever taught me how to sleep, because I’m not doing it right.”

I worked late last night, which was quite unusual. I came home and then basically went straight to bed.

Also, my HRV is off. Nobody on earth can explain HRV. I mean, I can explain it, but it has no meaning.

So anyway, I’m off to work on another typical day. Hope you have a wonderful day as well!

I don’t think I’m going to make it, I haven’t been reading like last year, because I’ve been studying. And when I do finish a book, I don’t put the book on Goodreads.

Oh, nevermind , I’ve already made it! LOL! I went to check to see how poorly I was doing and (Gomer Pyle) Surprise! Surprise!

I had no idea. To me that’s funny.

Here it’s raining hard. The water helps the yard. Rain will stop today, clearing up tomorrow. Then you’ll hear me say how I hate to mow.

it was quite a quiet weekend. I stidied and did the budderfield 800 meter sea swim

They gave us old, damaged awards from 2023. I guess they thought no one would notice.. It looks like they’ve been in the trunk of somebody’s car for two years.

Also, I studied.

90%, fairly significant milestone, I think. Bit I know that last 10% is really big!
